Ronda’s most striking feature is the Puente Nuevo, which spans a gorge over 300 feet deep. Can you guess when the "new bridge" was built? 1793. That should give visitors an idea of how unchanged Ronda has been over the years. It’s also known as the birthplace of modern bullfighting. The town’s bullfighting ring is only used once a year, at the Feria Goyesca, but it’s also a museum where you can learn about the history of this traditional (yet controversial) sport.

We are in our late sixties and were a bit worried about whether we could cope with e-biking. We need not have worried. Wayne was brilliant, totally aware of our ability, took us on appropriate tracks and was an enjoyable companion. The weather was a bit wet, sadly, but we had a great time and hope to return in better weather. Highly recommended.

A quiet, familiar and relaxed tour to get to know Ronda and the region of the white villages by the hand of an Andalusian guide who knows the region and the local culture well. Very personalized, with tickets included to two monuments of Ronda with the possibility of choosing between Plaza de Toros, Casa del Rey Moro and the Arab baths or others requested by the client. Free time for lunch in the city of Ronda and with a stop back to Seville in another white village, Zahara de la Sierra or Setenil de las Bodegas where you can breathe a more rural and less touristy atmosphere than in the beautiful and attractive city of Ronda, offering a broader image about the region of white peoples, their culture and traditions.

First of all, the views once we were inside were amazing. I booked this guide through trip advisor months in advance for our trip and it was one of the main highlights. 12 hours the night before our hike, our guide texted me saying he needed to cancel the hike. After asking if there was anything else he could do to be able to go he got back with me saying it was back on. We were also very late to our scheduled time to enter because our guide was unaware of the different route required do to recent rain. It was very stressful once we were there because they would not let us in for our guided tour because we were late. After a lot of arguing between our guide and the workers they let us in the hike on our own without a guide. This experience ended up being exactly what we wanted anyway, without the tour guide! Over all hiking the Caminito Del Ray was everything we expected and more. I think this tour was worth it just because it was a convenient way to get from Seville and back. I would say it was definitely disorganized as the pick up location changed multiple times and the hike almost being cancelled in less than 24 hours before, but at the end everything worked out. I would recommend this if you need a ride from Seville, but I would also recommend looking into taking a train and buying tickets from their website as the hike itself is about a tenth of the price of this guide.

Why just look around if you can look and understand?? So that you don’t leave Ronda feeling disappointed, hire a licensed local tour guide to enhance your visit. I will show you around and bring your tour to life by explaining the most outstanding aspects of the local history, art, and culture of this truly unique, beautiful Andalusian town. Do not hesitate and give yourself what you deserve! I started working as an official Guide in 1997, two years after graduating in Tourism, and I'm still working on it. I have the privilege of dedicating myself to a profession that I love and for which I have true respect and authentic passion. I enjoy every group, every explanation, every question, every step... I also had the incredible experience of guiding people as important as the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, also the First Lady of Panama and the First Lady of Mozambique, the Princess Desiré de Hohenlohe, Rick Steves, two ambassadors of the USA to Spain, amongst others.
