Loro Parque is the world-famous and adored by all animal adventure park in the Canaries. Get ready for excitement and fun at this "must see" attraction..
We went on a transfer from Playa de las Americas, which doesn't take as long as they say! Fantastic park with so much to see! Highly recommend the tour that they offer you when you go in as you get to see everything behind the scenes as well such as the vets, penguins and go underneath the orca whale tank to see them! They tell you everything about the place as well and will help you to find out which order to do the shows in! Whale and dolphin shows are a must!! Food is above average but fine for snacks and drinks!

Palmitos Park is a botanical zoo-themed park located 10 km from the Faro de Maspalomas. A subtropical oasis nestled in a wonderful natural environment of the island. His collection includes species of animals and plants from 5 continents. Best of nature concentrated in one place. Visit the new dolphinarium, with its spectacular show, aquarium, butterfly house, the incredible show of birds of prey, the show of parrots, meerkats, crocodiles and much more ....Discover the best of nature in Palmitos Park!!
My 3rd year returning to palmitos and I still can’t fault it! Visited today and had to write a review, perfect day, amazing shows, friendly and helpful staff, birds of prey guys at the top of the canyon very funny make you feel comfortable around the birds to take photos, very kind men! Dolphin trainers are amazing! Would love to have their job, appreciate all the work the staff put in there. Big variety of animals, very warm in August so just be careful make sure you drink plenty of water, wear hats and lots of sun cream but 1000% would recommend

If you visit Fuerteventura and don’t discover its Oasis you will miss out on a major part of its charm. Located on the south east coast of the island, is a beautiful must-visit nature reserve. It is an 800,000m2 area sheltering and protecting its flora and fauna, home to over 3000 animals of 250 different species, containing a unique Botanic Garden with the largest cactus garden in Europe. Here you will be able to enjoy live educational sessions with parrots, sea lions, birds of prey and reptiles, with valuable information from their keepers. Entertainment guaranteed! Furthermore, you can have the unique experience of direct contact with lemurs in the Madagascar area, sea lions under the water and even a spectacular trip along the coast on a camel. Open every day of the year, it includes 3 restaurants, a children’s play area and a farm with domestic animals. A free return bus service collects visitors from different points of the island.
I cannot recommend this trip enough! We opted for the 35E each whereby we walked the park alone as opposed to with a rep. This place is just wonderful, very big park, clean, modern, picturesque. There were some wonderful animals but our faveourite part was feeding the giraffes. Plenty of cafes and bars around to grab some food and drinks. Lots of cats around too. It is a must to go to the sealion show (which is inc in the ticket price) it was magical and made me cry, beautiful to watch them bond with the humans. Also walk up into the botanical gardens and at the top is where the birds of prey show is, open theatre with spectacular views of the mountain and sea whilst the birds swoop across in front of you. It is a long day 9 - 5.30 and we found ourselves done by around 4pm, however it is THE BEST zoo I have ever visited and the animals are well cared for. Great day out and fab value for money as you have various shows you can go to along the way.

It’s not cheap but it takes 2 hours to do it all. There is parking at the shopping centre next door. The setting creates an atmosphere in which the fish can be enjoyed and there are lots of very large tanks full of interest which can also be simply enjoyed as there is lots of seating. This is my favourite aquarium anywhere.

What an amazing experience. The aquariums are magnificent and the viewing area with a huge glass window was just amazing. A must if you are in Gran Canaria

Water babies will love nothing more than a trip to Lanzarote Aquarium where they can see the largest collection of majestic marine life in the Canary Island. One of the Aquarium main goals is to educate visitors about the sea- that's why we have created displays with information about the importance of protecting the environment. For example ´The Aquarium Garbage´ an exhibition that explores the damage being done to the ocean, and what needs to be done to see fish that live in the beautiful blue beneath the waves. There are plenty of native Canarian species to spot throughout the visit such as turtles, blowfishes and tropical clown fish. The shark tunnel will delight young visitors and the hands- on experience in the touch- pools full of spiky sea urchins and slimy sea cucumbers.
After reading the reviews, we were a little hesitant but as we were having lunch nearby by decided to give it a go! Whilst it is small, there is plenty to see.. we took our time and were not disappointed! Lots of fish and sea life in various tanks with screens next to each tank with information. The turtle looked really sad and definitely made you see the real life impact of using plastic! The rehabilitation work they are doing with the turtles is fabulous! In summary, you should take your time at each tank as some of the fish, eels and sea life can be shy... and don’t necessarily come out straight away and perform on demand! They also do feeding on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12 noon for the same cost... It was a really relaxed atmosphere and not crowded!

We have few animals at our Zoo Park (many kinds of birds, a pony, donkeys, sheeps, pigs...). Our main attraction is our camels. We make camel excursions around a palm grove situated by our ranch. You can also have a coffee, some snacks and buy some souvenirs at our shop.
Went on cloudy day - just turn up and wait but plenty of shade and we only waited 10-15 minutes. Camels looked well looked after and they are rotated so get to rest. Lovely walk through sand dunes spectacular scenery and 30 min ride enough for it not to be uncomfortable. Was a lovely way to spend a morning and very reasonable would recommend. With my teenage daughter who enjoyed the experience especially the close up encounter of camel behind !
