Stretching 126 miles south toward Cuba, the stunning Keys are a perfect escape. Highlights along the way include Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Big Pine Key and the irrepressible Key West. Get up close with an amazing array of fish while snorkeling, diving or fishing in the warm turquoise waters. Creeks, coral and costumed spectacles are other lures along the way. Highway 1 is a spectacular ribbon tying together the islands and atolls of this paradise between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic.

Great Yoga classes on the beach in Key West FL.
Yoga on the beach at the Southernmost Hotel was a great way to start the day. It was so beautiful and relaxing and I really enjoyed the opportunity to practice yoga in this beach setting with a great instructor. To our surprise, the Navy's Blue Angels were doing a formation fly-over during the time we were practicing, as they were in town for an upcoming weekend airshow. Nice bonus to an amazing class. Loved it!

I'll admit that I am not a fan of Yoga, and was not initially thrilled about doing this. However, the friends I was with while visiting Key West really wanted to partake, so I went along...and I am glad I did! The instructor, Kyla, was knowledgeable in both paddle boarding and yoga, and guided participants through both aspects of the activity as needed. There were people of all different paddle board and yoga experience, and Kyla did a great job of making the Yoga simple enough for us novices to keep up, and challenging for those who were more experience. I highly recommend this activity for individuals or groups that are looking for something different to do on their Key West trip!
