The birthplace of the tango is, like the dance itself, captivating, seductive and bustling with excited energy. Atmospheric old neighborhoods are rife with romantic restaurants and thumping nightlife, and Buenos Aires' European heritage is evident in its architecture, boulevards and parks. Cafe Tortoni, the city's oldest bar, will transport you back to 1858, and the spectacular Teatro Colon impresses just as it did in 1908. Latin America's shopping capital offers the promise of premium retail therapy along its grand, wide boulevards.

As a yoga teacher trainee I wanted to attend a yoga class that would be both challenging and relaxing during my 10-day stay in Buenos Aires.. True to the Iyengar method, Stella’s classes were insightful, precise and I was able to learn about my alignment even after years of practice. Stella is an experienced and intuitive teacher who was able to teach the class both in English and Spanish attending to everyone’s needs with professionalism and ease. I would certainly return to this studio in the future.

Ashtanga Yoga is a practice of meditation in motion. breathing, posture and gaze are the three tools that favour that state: the oscillation of the breath is the engine that allows the body to move through a sequence of postures in which one prepares the next; the eyes, open at all times, keep focus in the present moment.
