Established in 1973 by David and Heather Watson, Woodlands is one of Margaret River's first five wineries.Woodlands produces wine from its two vineyards, both located in the Wilyabrup Valley of Margaret River. The original Woodlands Vineyard is located on Caves Road, while the Woodlands Brook Vineyard is located two kilometres to the northeast.Woodlands' Vineyards are dry grown and maintained by hand using organic and traditional methods. Wines produced include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot blends, and Chardonnay. All Woodlands wines are made on site by the Watson family.
All the times I have visited Margaret River and this was my first time to Woodlands Wines. I have been missing out! Firstly the staff are amazing, really friendly, knowable & helpful. The cellar door is lovely and comfortable, very relaxing and the wines are great and reasonably priced. There is a snack menu with the most amazing cheese boards that are not to be missed. All in all, one of my favourite experiences this trip and I can't wait to return.

We are a family owned and run vineyard and we process our grapes in our own state-of-the-art winery, concealed in an unassuming green shed on the property. The entire winemaking process, from growing, picking and crushing the grapes, to bottling the wine is carried out on the premises. Everything is done with a touch of European tradition and style! Our exclusive tastings will provide a special insight into how these wines are made, while talking to one of us! We are on Johnson Road, between the Award Winning KNEE DEEP Restaurant and the Iconic BOOTLEG Brewery. Thank you and looking forward to see you! Gianfranco and Francesca
We were taken her by our wine tour guide Alex from unwind tours. We were lucky enough to have Gianfranco the wine maker so our tasting! Gianfranco is an absolute delight and we had such a great time . Their wines are just wonderful with many Italian varieties. We would definitely go back on our next visit to Margs ????

The Willespie vineyard began it's journey in 1976, when Kevin and Marian Squance and their four children planted 3.9 hectares of verdelho, semillon, riesling and cabernet sauvignon fruit. Forty years and many accolades later, the vineyard has gracefully grown in size along with the four children who have now taken over the reins to this unique piece of land in the Margaret River wine region. Our Wilyabrup property spans over 40 hectares and is a stunning backdrop for a wine tasting at cellar door, dream wedding or special event. Willespie is a boutique, family owned and operated vineyard with a long held passion for creating excellent wines.
Delicious wine & a great range from sparkling to whites, Rose & Reds! Low key winery with friendly staff & chilled atmosphere. Probably the best wine I’ve tried in the Margaret River region with reasonable prices.

★★★★★ 5 Red Star James Halliday Winery "Fraser Gallop Estate has made a bigger impact on the Margaret River wine scene than any other winery established since the region's early days." Peter Forrestal With four trophies, including the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards International Trophy for Best Bordeaux blend and nine gold medals for our Cabernet Sauvignon since the defining 2007 vintage, Fraser Gallop Estate is now recognised as one of Margaret River's premium wine producers.
Last weekend we toured a number of wineries in the Margaret River area of Western Australia, always a treat and something to work into any WA vacation! My favourite tasting was at the Fraser Gallop Estate winery - the wines were very good and Peter, the sommelier, made it a truly delightful experience. He is knowledgeable, personable, engaging, and just a lovely person to spend time with while sipping excellent wines. Peter often set us up with two wines to taste side by side - perhaps oaked/unoaked, or 2013/2018 vintages of the same wines - which made for a more interesting experience. If you go, and I highly recommend that you do, be aware that there can be an up charge ($5) for some of the more expensive vintages. Have a look at the fancy new Italian machine that controls the temperature of the wines you are tasting while serving out a calibrated amount for you to sip.

Domaine Naturaliste cellar door is located in picturesque Wilyabrup, a sub-region of Margaret River. Join us for a seated wine flight of our award-winning wines, accompanied by a cheese or charcuterie board. Open Daily
Popped in as we noticed it had been rated the 2020 value winery of the year by James Halliday. We were served by Jeff (?) who was really warm and friendly and walked us through the tasting flight. We bought three bottles and soaked up our tasting with a plentiful cheese board. Well worth a visit as it’s situated right amongst the vines

The home of Evans & Tate is our Redbrook Cellar Door, located in the heart of the Wilyabrup wine region. Nestled among some of Margaret River’s oldest vines, the Evans & Tate Cellar Door offers a stunning setting to enjoy a complimentary tasting of the current vintages of Evans & Tate wines.
We have been here a few times and always go back for the excellent service. If you are looking for a down-to-earth tasting experience where you will be comfortable asking wine questions without feeling like a fool...this is your spot. Always welcoming, good selections of reds and whites at reasonable prices and a beautiful location. Put this one on your list of wineries to visit while you’re in Margaret River.

Clairault Streicker is a family owned grower and wine producer based in Margaret River, located on the rugged south-west coastline of Western Australia. We are the owners and caretakers of four distinct sites spanning multiple sub-regions. Our oldest vineyard, established in 1976, is also home to our signature cellar door and vineyard kitchen. Clairault Streicker wines are authentic and classically-styled, setting a benchmark for the Margaret River region. Take a seat in the Discovery Room and let our knowledgeable staff guide you through our range. Our tasting style is designed to give you an intimate and personalised journey. A private space has been dedicated to our Cellar Club members with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards.
Very quiet winery that is good for families with kids. Beautiful food and love the wine tasting set up that is private without the gossip. Just sit with your sheet, pick your wine and taste away. The kids have a huge grass area with crochet, bocce or just run around that is pleasantly away from the main dining area or if small there is another closer area where they can play. Large tress provide shade. Food, wine and service all amazing.

Knotting Hill Estate is located in the heart of Margaret River, just 300km South of Perth in a location renowned for world-class wines. Our wines are no exception, having won numerous awards and industry accolades. Knotting Hill is Cabernet country boasting some of Australia's best Cabernet's and Cabernet blends. The 2014 Cabernet Malbec (97 points James Hallliday) rates as one of the best in Australia and the 'Jack Gordon' Cabernet Sauvignon (94 points) are fine examples of what this Estate Vineyard produces. If you like it sweet then the chilled red 'Ruby Red' the delectable 'Late Harvest' and the 'Sparkling Moscato' might be for you. We are also the prime producer/seller of Marron in the region, this fresh water cray fish is delicious and you can purchase this 365 days a year. Our Vineyard Platters and Tapas menus are a hit with our customers, coupled with one of our award winning wines you will be satisfied.
Beautiful views, wonderful staff, excellent food and amazing Rose. Will be buying more of the Rose from Knotting Hill Winery - reasonably priced for Margaret River. The platters are good value and very tasty. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake and vineyards was a perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon. Definitely top notch winery.

Established in 1982, Lenton Brae is a small family owned and operated Margaret River wine producer. Lenton Brae excels in the Margaret River specialities of blended Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and the varietals of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Cellar Door is open daily from 10am-5pm, we welcome your visit.
Visited on our organised Wine Tour and this was one of the best wineries visited. The Cellar Door host was the owner, a lovely lady who was very old school and very proud of her products. Bought a very nice Late Harvest Cabernet as a pudding wine - very unusual to find such a nice, subtle sweet red.

We enjoyed Kingsley’s wine tasting. A family run business with great wines-especially the reds.???? Very pleasant experience learning about the history of the vineyard.
