Zephaniah is a family owned Farm Winery on a forth generation working farm about 5 miles from historic downtown Leesburg, VA. The Vineyard is named for the wine maker's great grand father, Zephaniah Jefferson Hatch. We hand craft wines from estate grown grapes and a few select grapes grown by good friends and neighbors. Our primary tasting room is in our 200 year old Quaker built home. Our guests enjoy relaxed seated tastings of 6-8 wines which generally last one hour or more. Groups of 6 or more people require a reservation. Children must be closely supervised by an adult at all times. Leashed dogs are welcomed on our grounds but no dogs allowed in the tasting room. open hours: 12:00- 5:30 Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Federal Holiday Mondays.
We really enjoyed this winery! Went on a Saturday in November and met Bonnie (owner) who is a lovely retired teacher. As teachers ourselves, it was wonderful to meet her and she personally led us to our table and chairs. Tastings were in small cups due to Covid and all felt very safe. We brought our own picnic food to have with our wine. Absoulutely beautiful 200 year old stone house and lots of open farm land made for a relaxing afternoon with friends. I highly recommend visiting this charming winery. Bonnie communicates via e-mail and even responded to our thank you e-mail. Well worth our stop...and yours too.

My mom and I were in the area and stopped for a tasting. We both enjoyed all of the wines offered on the tasting menu. We are contemplating joining the wine club. We'll be back soon for sure!

My wife and daughter are both wine club members and we enjoy visiting Fabbioli 1-2 times every quarter for wine pick up and a tasting. The fun thing is that each tasting flight is paired with small bites of food, which is pretty unique. And each month they have a different theme I. The tasting room. This month it is Hawaii and when we were their in May is was famous TV Mom’s month. Always an enjoyable time!

8 Chains North is a family-owned and -operated farm winery located in the town of Waterford in picturesque Loudoun County, Virginia. Owner and Winegrower Ben Renshaw's careful attention to viticulture reveals itself in our old-world-style wines -- rich, dry reds with supple tannins, and crisp, dry whites with lovely acidity. Come visit us in our spacious, comfortable Tasting Room and enjoy two tasting options -- wines only, or wines paired with handcrafted chocolate truffles. Take a seat on the patio overlooking the vineyard, or in cooler weather, warm up by the fireplace inside. We offer a lite fare menu or you may bring your own picnic. We welcome groups with advance reservations and can accommodate limos and buses (no party buses allowed.) 8 Chains North is pleased to welcome your well-behaved children and dogs.
The tasting room is pleasant, but not as grandiose or unique as some. However they more than make up for it in the quality of the wines and friendly staff. We like the reds more than whites here, but both are drinkable. The exterior is lovely, overlooking the vineyards. Well worth a visit!

We went here at the recommendation of friends who are members and because we had tried some of their wine before and it was very good. We were seated in the pavilion which was open air and tables were well spaced out for safety during the pandemic. There were other seating options as well including tables and Adirondack chairs by the pond/lake/water. The singer and guitarist Gary Smallwood was excellent and not too loud. Our server was delightful, but a bit frazzled. We shared a flight with four wines and then got a bottle of the 2019 Alethia. It is one of their least expensive wines, but we loved it! The 2017 Merlot is also great. We have been to quite a few wineries in Virginia and have always passed on becoming members due to the cost or the quality of the wine. Before we left we decided to become members because the wine is good, the place is nice and the membership is affordable. Members have to buy 12 bottles a year and there are good benefits. One thing that was a bit annoying was the two times I went inside, once to ask a question and once to pick up our wine, all of the employees seemed busy and determined to pretend I wasn’t standing there looking for help! However, I have to say that all of my email interactions have been great. The best thing, aside from the lovely setting and nice atmosphere, is the fabulous wine! They just got a new winemaker and we are hoping she will continue the tradition of excellence!

You will absolutely love this winery. The service is wonderful and the winds are deserving of the 2020 governors award so if you’re ever in the western part of Loudoun County this is a must visit. Put it on your bucket list!
