While Atlanta is the anchor and capital of Georgia, you can aim in any direction to find distinctly different regions – from the tail of the Appalachians in the North to the rolling Piedmont hills and on down to the seaside marshes in the East. Atlanta lays claim to the state’s number one attraction – Stone Mountain State Park. They say it best - “Serious fun. Endless adventure.” Just 15 minutes from downtown, the world’s largest exposed granite dome is surrounded by 3,200 acres of natural beauty and stimulating activities for every member of the family – sky rides and hiking paths, laser shows and pedal boats along Stone Mountain Lake. Golfers tee it up, while red foxes dash across the fairways in a state where the Masters Golf Tournament creates revered green-jacket memories every year. It’s a long downhill ride down to historic Savannah, a ‘stone’s throw’ from the Atlantic and a virtual step back in time to Southern architecture and stately squares. St. Simon’s and Jekyll Islands offer barrier island beauty and a wonderful combination of outdoor activities, historic sites and artistic culture. Originally the private winter playground of wealthy northeasterners, Jekyll Island stretches along 10 miles of coastal beaches and inland marshes. Cycling and walking paths wind under moss-laden oaks, and a tour of Millionaire Village takes you back to those Cornelius Vanderbilt and J.P. Morgan days. The kid-friendly Summer Waves Water Park adds man-made fun to natural water sport activities. Coastal golf courses and sophisticated St. Simon’s Island appeal to moms, dads and vacationing couples.

This is a beautiful Vineyard in N Georgia. We went for Friday night Aperitivo and what a wonderful surprise it was. We found many wines we enjoyed, the food was delicious, and the hosts were exceptional. Best of all was the atmosphere. There is plenty of space to enjoy, either relaxing in one of the many Adirondack chairs around the property of taking a walk through the vineyards admiring the different grapes being grown.

We spent a couple of days in the Blairsville area and I wanted to check this winery out. This is a wonderful spot. Shari made us feel at home and was a pleasure to talk to. The wines are outstanding! Shari also gave us some great tips for dining. Definitely a place to stop while in the area. We will visit again

This Vineyard is a little off the beaten path but it is worth the drive and I would recommend allowing a couple of hours for this delightful treat. The scenery is beautiful - the wine is delicious - and Marvin and Tom are great! We loved our time spent here - we felt right at home. The one thing I noticed after a day of touring wineries - all of the wineries that we stopped at during our trip - was serving Currahee Wine! Duh -- because it is so delicious. One of our Favorites!

We are a 46 acre farm winery specializing in high-quality "country wines" or fruit wines ranging from a dry blueberry to our famous "Sweet A** Peach" to lemonade style wines called "Quittin' Time." Stop by our beautiful rustic tasting room for a few samples, sip a glass of your favorite out on our stunning wraparound porch while you take in the views of our blackberry patch and rolling pastures!

Come by for a tasting! Not only will you get to taste a flight of five of our wines in a relaxed setting, but your server will share tips and stories about each of the wines. Then, choose your favorite and sip a glass at an inside table, on the deck or porch. If the weather is cool, pick a spot by the indoor/outdoor fireplace. All have beautiful views of the Lenoir vineyard.
A beautiful tasting room and lovely wines nestled in the countryside outside of Bremen. I found this spot searching for a yarn community. Karen & Bruce raise alpacas (in addition to grapes), and Karen processes the yarn. I had a lovely afternoon crocheting and tasting their great wines. They do a great job with events as well. Check out their website. Highly recommend!

Stunning property, great parking options, really good wines and food! Hands down on of the best wineries for so many reasons in the Blue Ridge Mountain area. Family friendly, great for large groups with very kind and knowledgeable staff! Love music on the weekends and huge areas for seating and wandering. Hands down will be a repeat often whenever we are in that area. The owner lives on site and was a walking around meeting and chatting with many customers!

Flyhawk Farm & Tasting Room is a “must see” which does not disappoint. I have visited numerous tasting rooms in North Georgia over the years and this one was by far, the best! The owners are so lovely and the staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The tasting room is georgeous and the wine is exquisite. You will be blown away by the breathtaking views of the grounds, horses and Yonah Mountain. I highly recommend a visit.

We missed the brunch buffet due to coronvirus restrictions but the pizza and salmon salad were perfect! They found out it was our 5th anniversary and our server, Alana, and the manager were sure to bring us out a complimentary cheesecake platter with chocolate strawberries. We got to sit on the enclosed patio and look out at the beauty of the NW GA mountains.
