An ancient town of just under 3,000 between Florence and Siena, picture-perfect Castellina In Chianti is set in the wine-famous Chianti Hills. The many wonderful sights include the imposing 14th-century Rocca (Fortress), offering spectacular views of the town and surrounding countryside, the 16th-century San Salvatore church and the Via delle Volte medieval arched passageway. Just outside of town are the pre-Roman Etruscan burial tombs of Monte Calvario and the Necropolis of Poggino.

Come on to discover the wine tasting in Tenuta Casanova and fun with Rita's cooking class. One day to appreciate the Tuscan wine, the extra virgin oil, the honey and Silvan's balsamic vinegar. In Tenuta Casanova, you will taste Silvano’s wines; Super Tuscany, Easy to Fall in Love and Chianti Classico, surrounded by beautiful and charmed Tuscan land.
We spent a great morning eating, drinking and learning a lot about Tenuta Casanova. Silvano gave us a tour and an enology lesson that was great. Silvano is very enthusiastic about his profession. We have never been to a winery where we enjoyed the atmosphere and the wine and food like this. The wines were pared with a delicious meal prepared by Silvano's wife perfectly. Living in California we go to the wineries up North but nothing compared to our visit. The aged balsamic vinegar is fabulous. It is wonderful over ice cream! The truffle oil over scrambled eggs is delicious. We ordered and just received a shipment that we placed and can't wait to start drinking it!!! I am sold on a new winery to add to my collection

The Wine Tour in Sant’Agnese Farm is a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the Tuscan wine tradition and bring back to your home a little piece of Tuscan country. You will taste not only good wine but Balsamic Vinegar and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced in Sant’Agnese Farm.
We had the privilege of visiting Sant'Agnese Farm in Italy, October of 2018, and fell in love with their exceptional wines. We left feeling very much like a part of the Sant'Agnese family. This year Choctaw Lodge Retreat in Panama City, Florida USA hosted a wine tasting and dinner party presented by Alessandro and Carlos along with Alexandria. It was definitely a big five-star experience with their amazing wines paired with an exquisite meal. We love keeping their wine in stock and highly, highly recommend this incredible winery!

FAMILY PASSION The strength to realize a dream Through the dream and the work of Marco Mazzarrini , Tuscan oenologist and agronomist to Castellina in Chianti in the farm Poggio Amorelli the Famiglia Mazzarrini prodution brand was born, serving high-quality wines bottled at the source, made following the ancient tradition of Tuscan chianti in a territory naturally predisposed to select vineyards. From the vine to the bottle, everything embodies the strong values of a family that, with infinite passion and great technical expertise, expresses, in its wine, the truth of a place, its people, and its culture.
My wife and I visited for our honeymoon and absolutely loved this experience. Great wine and balsamic (we still order a case stateside when we can), great staff and the brothers were charming and informative. Plus, beautiful views of Tuscany. HIGHLY recommend when you’re in Italy.

Nittardi is a premium winery producer in the heart of the famous Chianti Classico region with a long history going back to the medieval times. During Renaissance Nittardi was already a well known winery owned by the artist Michelangelo Buonarroti. During the visit guests have the chance to visit the sculpture garden and taste the six different wines and olive oil produced at Nittardi.

We stopped in for a quick tasting after reading up on the winery and were glad we did. It's not as complementary as some; I don't believe they do tours. But the tasting was quite nice. And the panoramic views were straight from a Tuscan postcard. We sampled everything and left with a bottle of I Sodi di San Niccolò, their special blend. It's different than all the Chianti, which theirs is also very good. We look forward to finding them in the US!

Our cellar tours include an introduction to the characteristics of the Chianti Classico territory and a presentation of the wine-making process with a guided visit of all the areas of the cellar: fermentation cellar, large barrel cellar, barrique barrel cellar, stock room. The tour will finish in our tasting room where a selection of our products, including wines will be illustrated by members of staff.
