The Scott & La Prova Cellar Door offers classic Adelaide Hills wines as well as Aussie versions of Italian grape varieties and wine styles, from wherever they grow best. Visit us to enjoy wine flights for tasting, or linger longer with a glass and charcuterie plate in a comfortable lounge atmosphere. Open 1st weekend of every month, 11am to 5pm.
My husband and I booked in to La Prova’s monthly wine taste flight. We got to sample five wines which were incredible. Also ordered a Charcerturie Plate which was adequate for two. We were able to sample local produce including meats, olive, chutney, pickled zucchini and dried pear. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects related to their wine. They made us feel very welcome and at home. This made for an overall positive and highly memorable experience. Thank you and highly recommend to anyone.

Guests can enjoy tailored wine tastings, guided vineyard walks or simply to relax with a glass of wine. • Tailored wine tasting flights • Vineyard walks • Wedding ceremonies and receptions • Private dining • Corporate functions
Very little to say really, if you haven't been you must! The setting is just sensational, the wines are some of the best in country without question and if you happen to hit there when there is a function going on, well you will never go anywhere else. We live in the Adelaide Hills and there are many big name wineries that just don't deliver, Karrawatta does in spades. The staff bend over backwards to ensure your stay is exceptional and if you happen to catch Mark, it's even harder to leave. Anytime of the year is just fine. this is true love!

A Small Artisan Winery Tucked In A Norton Summit Valley Within The Cool Climate Of South Australia's Famed Adelaide Hills. Using only estate-grown fruit, the owners and winemakers James and Taiita Champniss handcraft limited batches of minimal intervention and incredibly fine wine. Our Cellar Door is only a 20 minute drive from Adelaide and on the fringe of our wine region.
Taste these magnificent wines with a selection as culturally diverse as Australia.! Unique wines that you will love!. Absolutely brilliant tranquil setting over looking a pond with ducklings. Check out the award winning quirky labels on the wine bottles. The artist has just won an international award for their designs. Chris who is the superb host will enthrall you his knowledge of how these delicious wines were crafted.

Rob was employed by Max Schubert, father of Grange, at Penfolds back in 1969. Now Rob’s running the most elegant, surprising and creative wine secret in the Adelaide Hills with his own family, Heather, Lucy and Emma. It’s not quite like anything else. Part cellar door and part wine bar, Somerled opens til 7:30pm every night. Front and centre of their website sits their weekly blog. Have a look now! Rob’s elegant and clean sparklings and whites contrast superbly with his mature and complex aged reds. According to The Advertiser, Somerled shirazes are ‘as close to Grange as you’ll ever get’. Lucy has recently re-introduced Wine Tasting Flights at their long marble bar, or try wines by the half glass or glass. Nibbles are abundant: try the warm cheese puffs, French toasties, warm anchovy sticks and their signature Spanish platters!
Great wines here, family business and wines, in the loveliest setting. Cellar door tastings, fireplace, nice noshy dishes if you're needing some food. Best of all is the personable service!!!

Nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills of South Australia, Bird in Hand is a world-renowned producer of fine wine that celebrates place and passion not only through expert vinification but also through food, art, and cultural events. The cellar door and restaurant are temporarily closed due to renovations.
If you have called in for tasting their glorious sparkling, or their latest sauvignon blanc, or the rose, or their reds especially Nero d'avola, then stay and have absolutely the most superb antipasto platter available at any wine region in S.A. We have been travelling through all the wine regions; the platters vary, but this one is a must. The breads are lovely, the cheeses very good, the meats, cornichons, I could go on ... but the local olives are absolutely out of this world. Sheltered outside admiring the green lawns, hedges, vines and trees all with memories of Tuscany or Provence ... it is just an absolute delight, and we are so lucky to be on the doorstep. Fabulous for weddings or special events, Bird in the Hand touches you with its magic. Just go ... and often!

Fantastic viewing and tasting of the wines and ciders. Lucky enough to do this in the manufacturing shed where we could get the up close and personal tour. Tried around 7 different beverages and Craig the wine maker was fantastic in explaining the process.
