Join us at Institut Polaire, the home of Domaine Simha Wines, for a unique tasting experience. Sessions cater from 2 - 10 persons and include 6 tasting samples accompanied by notes and a cheese platter to share.  Available from 12-4pm Saturdays and 3-5pm Sundays, please allow approximately 45 minutes.  Crafted by hand, just 2-3 barrels of each Domaine Simha wine are made each year. Short on time? The Half-Day Tamar Valley Wine Tour is perfect for you and is inclusive of a local cheese platter and a complimentary glass of wine.  For the Half-Day Tamar Valley Wine Tour, we pick you up from your Launceston accommodation. You are then personally driven to each vineyard in our comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle by a fully-accredited, friendly guide. We usually visit up to four vineyards of various sizes and styles on this tour, but you set the pace. As with our full-day tour you will have the opportunity to meet and engage with winemakers and cellar door experts. You are able to take the experience home by purchasing wines at each of the vineyards we visit. Freight to your home is included and can be arranged if you wish. Following your afternoon out, we will drop you off at your Launceston accommodation. All your wine tastings, cheese platter and freight are included in the price of this tour.

This tour is a mobile, 1 day Wine Appreciation Day out utilizing the knowledge of Your personal guide, Steliano (Stel) Cusmiani, the owner and 44 year veteran of the Australian wine industry, specialising in wine education, winery tours, and, in another life, a Wine Presenter on P&O cruises. StelaVino's guests will be on board a 12-seater Renault MasterBus for comfort. No question asked is a "silly" question. An All-inclusive tour, offering a full day to discover Tasmania’s award winning wines, tempting food and incredible scenery. Lunch with a glass of wine is included in the price - you don't have to pay for anything more on the day. Throughout the journey of the Tamar Valley, we will tell you stories of the region. From historic sites, famous people who shaped the Valley, to the owners of the vineyards. He is always happy to meet customer`s needs. We have wine and chocolate pairing, a visit to an Olive farm and an enormous range of wine varieties to taste. Even a drive through an out of this world Swiss Village.

Our tours include wine tastings at 4 cellar doors, and a generous lunch with wine. Our wine tours are fully inclusive and have repeatedly been awarded excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. We increase wine tasting pleasure by telling the backstory of the region, it’s vineyards and winemakers. Our group size is usually 8 guests or less with solo travellers and groups welcome. No minimum number of guests for our tour to start. All guests must be at least 18 years of age.

On our full day Wine Tour we visit 5 of southern Tasmania’s best wine producers. You'll have the opportunity to meet some of the winemakers and taste a range of award winning, hand crafted, cool climate wines. Tastings may include world class sparkling wines, crisp cool climate white wines and velvety, seductive reds. During vintage you'll see grapes being processed and wines fermented, throughout the year you'll see grapes growing in the vineyard and wines maturing in barrel rooms. You may be lucky enough to try wine direct from the tanks or the barrels, depending on the time of the year and what the winemaker is working on that day. Expect a day packed full of wine tasting, tours, conversations and even some local cheeses thrown in for good measure. Please note detailed tour destinations are an example only.
