If you’re into eating locally and supporting sustainable agriculture, go to Asheville—and eat, eat, eat. This town of less than 100,000 people has 17 farmers’ markets, and the local restaurant scene is all about taking advantage of the seasonal produce sold there. And don’t miss the area’s microbreweries.

We are a retail wine shop and wine bar/lounge. We also offer cheese, charcuterie and other light nibbles. We always have something open for customers to taste. Our retail selection offers wines from around the world at all price points. Our wines available by the glass are selections not often found on restaurant wine lists. Our wine bar uses Riedel varietal-specific glassware which is also available for purchase. Off-street parking in rear of building.

Urban winery in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC. We use an Old World approach to produce small batch craft wine using locally sourced grapes.
Very cool, progressive and inviting space in the River Arts District of Asheville. This city itself has something for every foodie, art and wine critic but Pleb I found to be a very relaxed and airy space to be able to enjoy a flight of wine after a long day of exploring. The surrounding art displays outside the winery made for inspiring table conversation. The wines were very tasteful and refreshing. I have lived in Ontario, Canada’s wine country my whole life and I was impressed.
