Shannon Falls Provincial Park

Beautiful waterfalls just outside of Squamish, easily accessible off the Sea to Sky Highway.

Wonderful little park with an easy walk to a beautiful waterfall. Kids climbed around and I was able to enjoy the area on my mobility scooter. You can choose a more rugged path to get up even closer to the falls but I still had a great view from my scooter. You would never know this lovely little oasis was in town. Parking was ample. There is a gift shop. About an hour to leisurely explore with kids.

Nairn Falls Provincial Park

My family visited this falls for the first time. It’s got very interesting old trees. The trail is shady with trees. It is an easy hike for those who are looking for just for fun hike with friends and little kids. When reached the falls, it is well fenced for protection. The falls looks great.

Brandywine Falls Provincial Park

Reviewed By pds209 - New Westminster, Canada

The main trail here is a short, easy, and picturesque walk to a platform from which to view the falls. The route is, for the most part, wide and paved. The only “choke point” is a small bridge over a stream near the entrance. Beyond the main viewing platform, there are a couple of further viewpoints from which to take photos and admire the surroundings. This park is an excellent choice for families.

Bridal Veil Falls Waterfall

Reviewed By 912shawnb

One of the nice things about the Bridal Veil Falls Waterfall is that it's a very short walk from the Parking Lot, ideal for families with young children or even for seniors who can still take a hike with a moderate incline. When we arrived in November, the gates to the park were closed but you can easily park outside the gate and walk to the falls from there (bear left at the fork in the road as you walk up). For Ontario-types, we were amazed by the size of the trees, and the rich mosses (and even ferns!) growing on (and in!) the trees. The falls themselves? The pictures say it all: spectacular.
