The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

Enjoy the relaxing ambience of the Balinese-themed swimming pool and poolside area operated by Harilela Hospitality Pte Ltd. Passengers staying at the Ambassador Transit Hotel may use the pool and jacuzzi for free. Otherwise, a small fee of $13.91 is charged to non-residents for the use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi, including the use of the shower facilities, a towel and a complimentary non-alcoholic drink from the bar.
This was the best part at the airport on our stop over! We rested in lounges for a few hours overnight and eventually found the swimming pool we had heard about. Our price included a drink each and it was absolutely lovely to float around in the pool as it first opened, see the sky lighten and hear nearby planes arriving and taking off. Towels were included but you MUST remember your bathers! Also bring a comfy change of clothes and clean undies as well as sunscreen if your stop over is during the day! Singapore airlines from Melbourne gave us a small toiletry pouch with socks and a toothbrush and paste. It was the best way to freshen up after by having a shower, fixing hair and changing clothes. An absolute must!

Haw Par Villa - formerly known as the Tiger Balm Garden – is an 8.5-hectare Asian cultural park, the last of its kind in the world. Built in 1937, Singapore’s largest outdoor art gallery is the brainchild of Aw Boon Haw, millionaire philanthropist and marketing extraordinaire who gifted the world Tiger Balm. The eclectic park is a treasure trove of Asian culture, history, philosophy and religion – quirky yet enlightening at the same time. Since 2015, it is managed Journeys Pte Ltd, an award-winning heritage specialist passionate in preserving and bringing the heritage gem to greater heights.
This attraction has seen its days and is not a top place to visit in Singapore anymore. However , if you have time I would not miss it. This is a park full of colourful statues depicting Chinese mythology and folklore. The part which depicts “10 courts of hell “ is a bit unpleasant and some people might get scared. The other parts are interesting even though some statues are really weird. However if you want some colourful and exotic statues, this place is not to miss. But it gets pretty hot here, so water is essential.

There's a better way to get wet at one of Singapore's largest waterparks! Experience the first raft slide in Southeast Asia, Ular-Lah is a super flume ride that offers you a chance to brave the rapids, or plunge down a four-storey ramp, accelerating until you hit the deck and skimming across to soar on the opposite side. Wild Wild Wet is open from 10am to 6pm on Singapore Public Holidays, and School Holidays.
This water park isn't that well known among tourists but in my opinion is better than Adventure Cove Park specially if you have young children. We went on a weekday it was very quite and we got a very good deal almost 40% less than Adventure Cove. The water park is connected to a mall and is 15min walking distance from Pasir Ris MRT. Very good lockers and changing facilities plus the showers are very nice to specially the kids one. The park has many big slides for thrill seekers a wave pool a Jacuzzi and many play areas for kids which were a huge hit with the little one. The reason we preferred this water park more is because of it open concept its very easy to keep eyes on your kids. We had a great time my 8 years old loved it.

There are no shortage of water play areas and swimming pools in Singapore, but few come at such a bargain. For less than $2 (and less than $1 for children), visitors can choose to dive into the wave pool, cruise down the lazy river, conquer the water slides, relax in the whirlpool or watch the little ones splash down at the Kiddy Fun Station. Bring your own picnic to make a day of it. (NOTE: Jurong East Swimming Complex will be closed March 12, 2012, to July 12, 2012, for renovations.)

Witness some of the biggest, most endangered animals from these rivers, in lofty tanks and luscious walk-through exhibits! A must-see are giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia in Southeast Asia's largest giant panda exhibit. Plus the world's largest freshwater aquarium themed after the Flooded Amazon Forest! The River is Calling...
