My brother and I had such an awesome experience. We had the tour guide to ourselves and he gave us a private tour just the 2 of us they didn’t cancel. The driver/guide was really nice and informative and he showed us around Skopje and gave us all the time we needed to soak up the views and take pictures! Unfortunately we didn’t get to ride the cable car to the millennium cross because it wasn’t operating, but we we got to go see and enter church st. Panteleimon instead which was very cool. We will definitely be returning and booking again with them. Thank you for a great time and fun experience ????????

A tour that will take you to one of the most interesting destinations of Balkans Ohrid town, This town is North Macedonia's most seductive destination. It sits on the edge of serene Lake Ohrid, with an atmospheric old quarter that cascades down steep streets, dotted with beautiful churches and topped by the bones of a medieval castle. Famous for its lake and architecture. At the same time you will visit Lin, a small peninsula softly joins the shores of Lake Ohrid. It was once called “Lake of Light” perhaps because the light of both the sun and the moon wholly illuminate its surface year-round. Indeed, this lake’s reflections are legendary! Hundreds of locals reside in this small but beautiful peninsula. As you descend the road to get there, you will notice the beautiful red roofs of its characteristic small homes. Bitola, or also known as Monastir during the Ottoman Empire, was and still is an important town: It was established by Philip II, father of Alexander The Great; It is on the Ancient Roman Road of Via Egnatia; and it was the town where the international community decided to open consulates to the Ottoman Empire. Today, Bitola is a town with a wealth of cultures intertwined in its streets and residents. Likewise, the remnants of a once thriving Jewish community are scattered throughout the town, and blended in the everyday life as a memory. In this tour we visit the oldest Jewish cemetery in the Balkans, we walk through the old Jewish neighbourhood to see where the Jewish once people lived, visit the Old Bazaar to see where the Jewish people once worked, and we see the many monuments that the local people of Bitola enacted in memory of their fellow citizens. In the process we learn also about the rich history of Bitola and its tasty cuisine.
Inclusions: Radio communication that enables you to listen to the guide's stories clearly, and to be able to keep a safe physical distance (in accordance to WHO recommendations).
Exclusions: The Shirok Sokak (Wide Street) of Bitola is a popular place to go for a coffee, we may do it to experience the local culture., A sweet-shop in Bitola is making a Jewish cake, in honour of the loss of its fellow citizens. And it is a good cake too.
