We loved our tour of Montenegro with Pavle from Nomad! We felt like we were travelling with friends rather than a tour guide! Its great discovering new countries with a tour guide who is easy going , informative, passionate and has such a fun & positive vibe! Nomad are flexible and easily accomodate your preferred activity options. We loved our rafting, zip line, hiking, nature and mountain bike adventures. All the other providers (rafting/bikes/ accomodation/food etc) are also amazing! The scenery is stunning and Nomad know all the beautiful places to show visitors! We highly recommend this or any tour with Nomad Montenegro, they are very friendly and go above and beyond for their guests! They also have a great local ethos and are doing great things!

The waterfall was named after Niagara waterfalls in Canada. If it is much smaller, this waterfall is a great attraction for Podgorica and a place of rest in the hot summer days. From there, you will be able to see the Cijevna River Canyon and part of one of the largest vineyards in Europe. Also, there's a restaurant where you can enjoy the wine and views. After visiting the waterfall, the road leads us to the Ostrog Monastery About the beauty of this monastery, made by St.Vasilije, was written by Napoleon’s colonel and French commander Viala de Somier, who visited the monastery in 1810. He wrote a book about Montenegro and published it in Paris 10 years later. Monastery has always been important pilgrimage sites, the relics of Saint Basil of Ostrog attracted people from all over the world.

A city walking tour that will introduce you to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, and it's administrative, cultural and economic centre. The wider area has been inhabited since the Stone Age, but its urban history starts with the arrival of the Romans in the 2nd century B.C. Dating from the period of Illyrian-Roman wars, Podgorica was always at the crossroads for Greek travellers, Roman legionnaires, Byzantine messengers, Serbian noblemen, Venetian merchants, Turkish invaders, Montenegrin warriors... More than 70 bombings in the Second World War have wiped out many buildings and monuments from the previous centuries. During our 90 minutes walk, we will pass by some of these remaining traces of the previous centuries but will also take a look at the way the city was rebuilt during the communist period and in the later decades.

I have just gotten back from my tour and I must say that this is one of the best town tours I have ever been on, I highly recommend it. Ana was my guide and she was extremely knowledgeable about the town and its history. She was able to answer any and all questions I had and kept the tour interesting. I would 100% tell anyone I know to do this tour when visiting Montenegro and Kotor as it was amazing. I would also like to note that even with covid, I felt comfortable on this great tour! Thank you, Ana!!

Ostrog Monastery was built in the 17th century. It was founded by the Herzegovinian metropolitan Vasily, who was buried there in 1671, and later canonized. St. Vasily Ostroški is known as the Saints Wonderman. Believers of all religions from different parts of the world visit this monastery in large numbers, and for the citizens of Montenegro, it is the greatest sanctuary. The monastery is in third place when it is a word about visits in the Christian world, immediately after Christ's tomb in Jerusalem and the Holy Mountain in Greece. Monastery Ždrebaonik (1920) for centuries it was the center of all events. Tribal councils and important decisions were made there. His fate was also the fate of his people. Today it is a women's monastery. Not far from Podgorica, on the road to Bar, in the caves that have been built for many years, merging with the natural environment and hidden from the eyes of passers-by, is the monastery Dajbabe, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin.

Budva is a must see for anyone traveling in the region. Its an "old town" with a wonderful past. The night time entertainment in the city is great too but start your day with a city tour. Its worth the cost and will blow your mind...or just boggle it.

Through centuries many empires came to Montenegro and many succeeded in conquering it. No wonder why there are still remains of different architectural styles standing today still. On this tour, we will guide you through stories and places that have that little “something”. Our first stop is the Old royal capital of Cetinje. It’s a living postcard with small houses, museums and a monastery from the 15th century. The next stop is, Budva old town, the simple must-see spot in Montenegro visited by all travelers but popular for locals also. Kotor old town is a medieval town with a history dating from over 1000 years B.C.Since 1979 the Kotor old town is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. On the way back we will do a photo stop above St. Stefan island, the former fishing village situated on a peninsula today is visited by Holywood stars and Royal families Skadar Lake and visiting Virpazar town once was the main marketplace of the area but today the main spot in National Park Skadar Lake.
