Join us for an evening hike featuring one of the most beautiful aspects of our area - our sunset! We will start hiking while it is still daylight, and hopefully catch a sunset at a western-facing peak close to town. Snacks are provided while we watch sunset. After sunset, we'll hike back down to the trailhead. The hike will likely finish in the dark, so each participant will be given a headlamp to use during the trip. We have a couple of hike options to choose from - ranging from 1.5 to 5 miles and from easy to moderate in difficulty. You'll work with your guide to select the best hike location for you! Curious about the other hikes we offer? Check out our website.
Inclusions: Light snacks while we watch sunset, Headlamp
Exclusions: Gratuity for your guide, Private transportation

We camped in our trailer 3 nights on this beautiful property, and took a guided tour of the farming operations. The land is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around and watching the animals. The livestock is very well cared for, and the property had wildflowers blooming everywhere.

I don't know exactly when we went to this bee farm, it was July or June, but it was a amazing experience I will never forget. Its definitely recommended. Now I'm just a teenager, my name is Brady. Sean and Denise if your reading this you might or might not remember me, but Sean and Denise were hilarious, especially for a teenager. They even accommodated my peanut allergy that I have. This tour was very funny, but also very educational. I learned so much that I still remember now like 3 or 4 months after the tour. Even younger kids could have a great experience at killer bees honey. We even bought some of killer bees honey...... Nothing to say, but unreal taste. The BEST HONEY you will EVER HAVE! One thing I learned from the tour is one little smart hack, and you can tell whether the honey your buying is processed or not. Take the jar or jug of honey white its full and flip it, a bubble with move from top to bottom of the jar. If that bubble takes any longer then 3 seconds to reach the otherside the honey is processed. Sean even showed us with his honey and another publix brand of honey. His honey was about 2.25 seconds from top to bottom and the other honey was about 4 or 5 seconds. Anyways if your thinking about taking a trip to Killer Bees Honey, then do it dont even think about it go to Killer Bees Honey. Awesome experience all those bees being around and handling them. Btw this is coming from a teen. SO GO TO KILLER BEES HONEY AND HAVE SOME FUN WITH Sean and Denise!!

We loved the entire experience. It made me realize that we do not make enough time to smell the roses, or in this case the forest. Kelly is an excellent guide. I don't remember the last time when I was this relaxed. All the build up tension from this past covid year was left somewhere in the woods.

Before 'farm to table' and 'buy local' were 21st century catchphrases, they were a way of life in Asheville. The best way to uncover the city's friendly, small-town vibe is to enjoy it with a person who calls it home. Seemingly everyone you will meet on your private tour will be an artist - that's because Asheville has a way of bringing out the inner-artist in everyone, including you. Whether you fancy trying glassblowing or prefer simply to get lost in the blue hues of mountain-scapes, you will leave the city more in touch with your artistic side than when you arrived. As you wander, enjoy the eclectic architecture which captures the nature of the city: a collective of people who fought to preserve history at every turn. Your tour finishes in the South Slope Brewing District, where you can enjoy a large, local beer and get tips for the best way to spend the rest of your time in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Today I went on a hiking tour with Keith. It was fantastic! He showed me fantastic trails, gave me personalized advice for taking trips on my own, and was really reassuring about my ability to venture out on my own. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything from nature to the history of Asheville. Highly highly recommend. Will be doing this again the next time I’m in town!
