Christian was very knowledgeable and a wonderful guide! Each of the markets were different and enjoyable. However, my favorite was the first market, which is where the local's shop! Then you get the added experience of enjoying an authentic Mexican breakfast. Christian walks you through the menu in detail and explains each of the drinks and dishes. Then once you can't decide what to try he makes the best recommendations to ensure that you get to try each of the different types. Be sure to come hungry! On the walk to the next market, we also got to try some Mexican candy...yummy! I highly recommend this tour!

Our first day in Cabo San Lucas we decided to take a food tour to get a feel and taste for Cabo. After reading the wonderful reviews we decided on AvoCabo food tours and they did not disappoint. It was much more than just a food tour. Johnathan is very knowledgeable and passionate about the local cuisine, community and history. I tried several dishes that I would have never tried due to his passion and explanations of the dishes. There was a wide variety and everything was delicious. His assistant was also very attentive and made sure everyone was looked after. Bring your appetite and enjoy this unique and fun culinary, and cultural adventure! Thanks again Johnathon from Hank and Nikki.

Specific about the tours, each stop was different, each taco was different and so if you're looking to learn a little about the history of PV and taste a variety of different tacos, you should definitely take this tour.

We were able to to try a variety of food/drink including tacos, cerviche, chicken mole, chocolate/candy, coffee and a tortilla factory. At our last stop we experienced the LaBandera tequila drink. You don't go away hungry after this trip! Jo added to the experience by sharing her knowledge about the history and culture of this community. Would highly recommend this tour!

The rich history of the paintings ( murals ) and explaining the meaning of the paintings and the artists was captivating. I was not bored at all. Tadeau ( tour guide) is like a history book except that I don’t have to do the reading. His knowledge about Tijuana, the places visited , the artists, and what the paintings explains is easy to follow and understand. It was a Mother’s Day well spent since I was alone in San Diego and my children couldn’t come, this day trip was their pick.

Recently selected as one of the New World Wonders, Chichen Itza is without a doubt one of the most spectacular and important archeological sites of the Yucatan peninsula and Mesoamerica. The Maya-Toltec style; which can be appreciated in Chichen Itza is the result of the cultural exchange between the different cultures of Mesoamerica. The excellent restoration of this ancient city makes it an absolute “must-see” destination for any visitor to the Yucatan peninsula interested in history and culture. After visiting Chichen Itza we cool off in an impressive cenote (flooded cave) where nature and mysticism will bring you to a whole new dimension. Valladolid is a city where past and present come together to delight us with astounding sights of beautifully colored colonial architecture and tastes of an incredibly rich gastronomy.
