Elena was an amazing tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and super nice. I had very limited time in Florence. But with her help, I had such a blast and definitely made the most of my trip. I can't recommend enough Elena and her tour to people who visit Florence, especially for those who are in Florence for the first time.

" We had an awesome food tour with Matteo. He was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We started out tour with an espresso. We then toured a small market, stopping to taste delicious cured meats, cheeses, fried dough and fresh fruit. We learned about some typical Florentine sweets and got to taste them of course. The highlight for us was the wine tasting. We explored the cellar of the wine store and sipped some wonderful Italian wine. Out tour culminated with a yummy gelato. A perfect way to top off a great tour! "

What an amazing day! It started with truffle hunting with Roberto and his two dogs - Ori and Chloe! We learned a lot about truffle hunting and how the dogs are trained. Chloe was 'in training' and it was fun to see how Roberto used both dogs. They found about 12 truffles in all of various sizes! Then we headed to a small family winery where we ate the fruits of our labor!!! We had a 4 course 'absolutely delicious' meal, tasted a lot of great wines, in addition to olive oil and honey! We even bought a bottle of wine to take with us and watched Sylvia add the DOCG label by hand (which are closely tracked by the region)! We had a great tour guide, Paelo, with us the entire day! He picked us us at our farmhouse, was our translator when needed, was very courteous and informative! I would highly recommend this very unique experience! And I would recommend Tuscany Private Tours. They were very easy to communicate with and very responsive!
