After a 10 day Traveling adventure with a group through another traveling group, my friend and I opted for a private tour of Rainbow Mountain! Unfortunately it snowed on the day we reserved our tour; however it was one of our most enjoyable days due to the kindness of our guide Richard. He was very informative regarding the history and culture of the area and people. We were able to see some beautiful sites on the way to and home. We met some local folks, stopped by a lovely place to eat Los Cabanas and have coffee. The food was awesome!! Richard took some beautiful photos and was patient with us when we wanted to stop to view some sights/alpacas!! The time with Cusco Holiday Peru Servicios Turisticos was one of our most favorite and memorable!! Thanks for such a wonderful time and adventure!!

Meet your host Jorge at his home and drive to the local market together. Jorge will give you a tour of the market and you may even buy fresh ingredients to use in your cooking class later. Jorge offers a hands-on experience, where you will get to cook along with him in his small kitchen. The cooking portion of the experience will last for 1 hour and you will learn to make an appetizer and dessert. A few dishes that you might try are palta reina with tuna (tuna stuffed avocado), fresh bruschetta with Chilean canned mussel, pastel de papas (a classic dish made in Chilean homes, not always found in restaurants, it is something close to a shepherd’s pie) and Chilean Papayas with cream. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Chilean culture and cuisine from a warm and welcoming local - you're sure in for a real treat!
Inclusions: Private market tour and cooking class with your host Jorge, homecooked meal, Local alcohol (1-2 glasses), Non-alcoholic beverages, All taxes, fees and handling charges, Gratuities
Exclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off
I can't say enough great things about Carol! She's beautiful, wonderful, educated, well-traveled, charming, great cook, teacher and hostess. You can have Chilean food in any restaurant, but the experience of cooking in a local's home and having Carol guide you through the cooking process while telling you colorful stories about life in Chile makes this a a great way to learn about a culture and country through a local--truly a priceless experience. Only thing I regret was I scheduled for the first day I arrived after a 14hr overnight flight. Still, it was of the best events I did in Chile!

We really enjoyed this virtual live experience all together. And even-though we decided to "only" watch, due to the time difference (after dinner for us), we had a great time learning more about how to properly cook Empanadas. Thanks again to Camila for making it very interesting, "tasteful"and fun and giving us the chance to discover the world of Empanadas and also sharing insights about Argentina with us.

Did this trip in February. To sum it up it consists of 11 hours in a minivan to visit three churches in Chiloe, none of them is interesting unless you are an academic interested in the technical details of wooden church building in the mid 19th century. However good the guides are (and our guide was excellent) this piece of Chile is not worth visiting. The drive to Castro in Chiloe island comprises a 70km motorway run to a ferry and then more than two hours driving along a scruffy, semi industrialised road with no redeeming features to Castro. On arrival the only logical question is "why bother". There are so many beautiful places in Chile I would suggest that people give this excursion a swerve and prevent the total waste of a day of their lives.

Enjoy a seasonal Chilean meal in rural Pucón with your host Carolina and her family. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture over food. Carolina is originally from Temuco in Southern Chile, where she was raised among the plants, fruits and vegetables her family cultivated in their enormous garden. Carolina inherited her love of cooking from the women in her family. After successful, fast-paced careers in London, Carolina (a journalist) and her husband Alain (a financial engineer from France) decided to move to Pucón to open their B&B. Their property includes a beautiful garden, bee hives, play areas for their children, a pool, and a stunning view of Villarrica, a beautiful active volcano. Carolina grows many of the fruits and vegetables you will enjoy on her property, so her cooking is fresh, organic and seasonal. Carolina and Alain love to share their lives with their guests, so relax and enjoy the pleasures of a home-style meal at their table.
Inclusions: Private organic meal with your host Carolina, Beverages, All taxes, fees and handling charges, Gratuities, Lunch, Dinner, Alcoholic Beverages
Exclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off

We had a pleasure of Waldo being our tour guide driving and showing us around Valparaiso. We had 2 children that are still young, so flexibility of the schedule is a must and Waldo is very flexible and intuitive of our needs. He even prepared desserts, drinks, fruits, you name it, he brought them with him so we have a pleasant day through out the day, as most of the restaurants is still closed during Phase 2. He even brought our bags along and carried them securely,to prevent robbery. Thank you Waldo for being very patient with us and waited until we had great photo for our Instagrams. We really recommend him!

Scheduled a Santiago tour, but the form didn't have a place to identify where to be picked up. Spent 2 weeks trying to contact the tour people. They don't answer the phone, don't answer emails. Don't respond to voicemail. Even got Orbitz to try and they can't either.
