Vail, our guide was terrific. We learned a lot about the history of San Miguel, and enjoyed all the restaurants we visited. Highlights were the shrimp and jicama tacos and the churros. I have some mobility problems due to a total knee replacement I had a few months ago, and she changed the itinerary to accommodate me. They even picked us up at our hotel and brought us back! My husband and I were the only ones on the tour, so they went out of their way to customize the experience. One piece of advice: go hungry!

We were disappointed in this tour, inasmuch as many of the places that were on the itinerary -- two museums and the national theater -- were closed. And they've been closed for a long time due to Covid. Our tour guide said, "we'll need to cut the tour short"...we suggested we visit a winery on the way back, but this came from us not him. The guide himself was knowledgeable about the history of the location, which is why this isn't a 2-star, but the owner, Jesus, should either have not booked us on the tour at all or at least informed us that after a one-hour+ drive many of the destinations would be unavailable.

Spent 2 days with David and am happy to recommend David and Annamaria, without hesitation, for whatever kind of tour you would like, in or around Queretaro. For example, we had an exceptional day visiting the monolith near Bernal; followed by a lovely time in the town itself; including a couple of fascinating extra touches; and topped off with wonderful lunch at a picture perfect hacienda. Annamaria & David will go out of their way to see that you have a great experience in Queretaro. Bob

This was a great tour I would definitely recommend it if you are an art lover/collector visiting San Miguel de Allende. We were on a short trip over new year to this fabulous place, Arturo agreed to take us out on New Year’s Eve to visit four different artists. He collected us from our hotel and drove us out into several areas of the city to meet 2 painters and 2 sculptors in their homes or studios. Just visiting these different areas which you wouldn’t normally have access to was an experience in it self. Arturo spoke good English and gave us a background history into art in the city and of the artists we were meeting. I own an art gallery based in the UK and was really surprised how strong all four of these artists were. They had all spent years developing their own practice, techniques and it was fascinating hearing each artists talk about what inspired their work. We did purchase a couple of pieces and could easily have bought from any of the artists we visited. We will definitely be visiting some other of Arturo’s artist/galleries when we return to SMA.

And we have been on plenty all around the world. We were fortunate to have 2 guides for a group of 4 people, the owner Rodrigo as well as Fernanda. Both are really passionate about their city and its food. We stopped at 8 places over the course of 5 hours. Each place was selected for a specific reason and they were all simply amazing. We also very much enjoyed going through the Mercado de San Juan and enjoying a few nibbles along the way. We walked and talked and ate a lot. You will not leave this tour hungry or needing anything else to eat for the rest of the day. The food was all delicious, freshly prepared by local owners who really take pride in their food. We also got a lot of history during the walk which was great. Both guides were genuinely interested in what we had to say, and ensuring that we were enjoying our experience. We liked the company so much, we will be doing its Tacos and Mezcal tour later in the week. Cannot recommend highly enough
