Did this trip in February. To sum it up it consists of 11 hours in a minivan to visit three churches in Chiloe, none of them is interesting unless you are an academic interested in the technical details of wooden church building in the mid 19th century. However good the guides are (and our guide was excellent) this piece of Chile is not worth visiting. The drive to Castro in Chiloe island comprises a 70km motorway run to a ferry and then more than two hours driving along a scruffy, semi industrialised road with no redeeming features to Castro. On arrival the only logical question is "why bother". There are so many beautiful places in Chile I would suggest that people give this excursion a swerve and prevent the total waste of a day of their lives.

I arranged our private tour with Mauricio via email. He was very professional and helpful in our decision to do a private tour of Valparaiso / Vina del Mar and return to San Antonio for our back to back cruise. Because of COVID-19, our 2nd cruise was cancelled and our tour guide Francisco was very agreeable to taking us to Santiago airport after our Valparaiso and Vina del Mar tour. Our tour guide, Francisco was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant - he made our tour very enjoyable and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed the seafood empanadas, recommended by Mauricio. Thank you Mauricio and Francisco for a fun last day in Chile.

Scheduled a Santiago tour, but the form didn't have a place to identify where to be picked up. Spent 2 weeks trying to contact the tour people. They don't answer the phone, don't answer emails. Don't respond to voicemail. Even got Orbitz to try and they can't either.

Enjoyed the scenery, and culture within the community. It missed out on the 4 star review because the hygiene and service could be improved drastically. To further enhance improvements, I would recommend that this is fit for a family of 4, as it depends on your tour. The tour around the city is spetacular, but the wine tours need to be further enhanced. Anyways, I enjoyed most of the experience.

Gabriel and this wine tour were nothing short of amazing. After being cooped up in Santiago for 2 weeks due to quarantine requirements, it was such a welcome relief to get out and see more of this beautiful country. Gabriel is a wonderful host to the country he is so proud of, and is very conscious and respectful of any and all Covid restrictions/requirements. He speaks perfect English and is knowledgeable about all things Chile, not just wine, including music, food and geography. I enjoyed Gabriel and the tour so much I arranged a 5 day ad hoc tour of the region...one of the most authentic and enjoyable vacations I’ve been on. I highly recommend you book this tour and any other offered by Gabriel.
