Not just for retirees and theme park enthusiasts, the Sunshine State offers beautiful beaches, pristine diving conditions, and sizzling nightlife. Salsa the night away in a smokin’ hot Miami club, or swing away at one of Kissimmee’s many premium golf courses. An airboat tour of the Everglades is an unforgettable adventure – just look out for alligators! For the risk-averse, a lazy day spent on the soft sands of an Emerald Coast beach is as rejuvenating as a spa treatment.

So incredibly helpful in what to do, when to go, maps, directions, coupons for many things, etc. The lovely lady from Yazoo, MS was so helpful to Dad and me on a tour for us along with a discount coupon for admission to the Hammock we toured. She recommended the perfect tour for us, place for dinner and also a happy hour spot. Best place to get the scoop on what to see in the area

This visitors center was loaded with maps, brochures and just about anything you could need for visiting St. Pete Beach and the surrounding area. We were staying at a resort a few blocks south of the center and Charlie was extremely helpful, giving us some great suggestions as well as 2 spot on restaurant recommendations. I enjoyed his local incite to my many questions as well as our general conversation. The Chamber of Commerce is lucky to have him.

We love Cedar Key and plan to move there. The lady who greeted us at the Welcome Center was full of information about the area and the wildlife. She gave us a lot of information about the Horseshoe Crabs. We went after our second day in town.

The island of Pigeon Key is a historic 5-acre island located in the heart of the Florida Keys! It was once the home of over 400 workers who built the Overseas Railway from Miami to Key West. Today, the island is operated by the Pigeon Key Foundation, a 501(c)-3 not for profit organization. Our Visitor's Center, which is the address listed, is where our daily historical tours depart from at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. We also operate a Marine Science Center on the island, school groups from all over the world come to Pigeon Key to be immersed in the ocean environment found right around the island. Visit our website or call our gift shop for more information about taking a tour! To keep our ferry crew, tour guides, staff and visitors safe, we will be requiring masks for admittance to the island and our tours will be based off of social-distancing suggestions.
We went out by ferry to pigeon Key a lot of history about Flagler railroad and the 7 mile bridge Eric was an excellent tour guide! We had enough time to snorkle by the dock and eat lunch before returning to Marathon..would recommend!

This is always one of my first ports of call when in Miami Beach. The quality of the new and vintage items they buy in is exceptional, as are the staff. Every pair of sunglasses I own originated from here.

The original center of the National Park with an abundance of trees and nature.
Small visitor center with restrooms and exceptional accessible walking trail. Short trail but give yourself at least an hour to gawk at the creatures. You will see alligators, plenty of fish, large birds and maybe some turtles. Watch yourself along the beginning of the pathway - gators hang out just on the left of the "barrier". Watch out for the sun here - limited shade along the trail. Bring a visor and some sunscreen!
