Just visited over the bank holiday. The rooms are lovely and central to all amenities. Nicole sent us a message to say when the room was ready and the little extra touches bottled water tea coffee and biscuits were lovely. I will definitely stay again when in Whitby.

This is an incredible, one-of-a-kind place; a converted chapel that fans of art, architecture and the unusual will love. This curiosity shop-meets-gallery is beautifully furnished and decorated, with themed rooms and some incredible spaces. Mark, the owner, is passionate about the building and fascinating to talk to over a delicious breakfast. A unique find close to a beautiful town centre.

Me and my partner stayed here last weekend for an evening as we were attending a wedding at sandburn hall near bye. The B&B itself was clean and homely. The room was large, spacious and clean. The owners couldn’t do enough for us, even taking us and bringing us back from the wedding venue!! Breakfast was also amazing! We will 100% be returning! Thank you for a lovely stay! PS love all your pets!!

The Copper Horse Cottages are 6 luxuriously appointed cottages situated around 4 miles from the beautiful seaside resort of Scarborough in the centre of the pretty village of Seamer. Just a few steps away from The Copper Horse, the award winning restaurant run by the cottage owners. These cottages have been lovingly designed using the finest quality fabrics and furnishings and each one is uniquely decorated to provide first class accommodation for a family or a group of friends.
Just returned from a lovely family holiday at the Aldwych cottage part of The Copper Horse cottages. The space is ideal, suited us well. Great to have smart tvs in all the rooms, all the appliances and extra equipment you'd need. However, we did feel that the cleanliness of the property was lacking. The living room floor needed hoovered as soon as we arrived, cobwebs in the window frames and by the kitchen door, the chrome towel rails in the bathrooms were dusty, water marks on the glass shelves and the shower screen didn't appear to have been cleaned. This may not seem much to some but we expected a better standard especially with covid. A few other things to mention, all the wallpaper was coming away from the wall in the living room, we couldn't get the heating to work (not that it was cold, but to dry clothes after getting caught in a downpour), downstairs toilet seat wasn't fitted correctly, so you sat on the pan, and there was no hook for the retractable washing line. The live music from the Mayfield Pub went on til after 11.30pm on Friday night, extremely loud so worth considering if you've small children. This may seem picky and most of these could be easily sorted with a bit more attention to detail. Overall an ideal location and a great property, just lacking in attention to detail that would make it a true 5 star property.

Peaceful. Stunning views. Clean. Comfortable. Modern. Well equipped with everything needed to self cater. Netflix on TV. Lots of walks on doorstep easily found on internet. Local pub 5 mins drive away. Helpful and timely responses from owner. Much needed break from living a busy town life.

Fayvan is a stunning Victorian residence situated on the West Cliff, in the most prestigious area of Whitby, just off the Royal Crescent on Crescent Avenue. These extremely spacious apartments are finished to a very high standard and all have side sea-views. Our first-class non-smoking accommodation has been rated 4 stars by Visit England.
Been to Whitby but 1st stay at this Apartment. Benita and Mike are excellent host’s. We stayed in Apartment 2 which could easily accommodate 4 adults and 2?kids as bunk beds in master bedroom and pull out double bed in lounge. Decorated to a high standard and only 150 yards from Beach. Ideally located for all amenities. I would certainly recommend and will definitely be returning.

From the first enquiry until leaving everything was amazing. The communication to book, help finding caterers, ringing with confirmation was all superb. We have just got back after a 2 night stay with 16 ladies in the Farmhouse. Every part of it was fabulous. The cleanliness, the provision of towels, 2 fridges, the hot tub etc etc. we had fantastic weather so sat outside for hours. It was so chilled and relaxed. We will definitely be back again

We’ve just got back from a lovely weekend away at Wrea Head Country Cottages. It was a last minute booking and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay there. We stayed in Sea View, which has fab views out to the sea and castle (when the Yorkshire weather cooperates). The location of the cottages is perfect being close to Scarborough and local amenities, including pubs and takeaways, and yet in beautiful quiet rural countryside. There is enough outside space to have fun and freedom for the kids, with play equipment and fields, and the swimming pool and hot tub shared by the 9 cottages is great. Currently booked in 1 hour 30 minute slots for each cottage so you get the pool to yourselves. As it was a quiet January weekend host Lauren also let us know that we could have longer in the pool and book additional slots as they weren’t full, which was really appreciated and the pool was a highlight for the kids. The cottage itself was great, modern and well equipped, with an additional TV in one of the bedrooms so ideal for families. The Wi-Fi was good enough to keep two tweens happy and fine for streaming on the TV. Thanks for a fab weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

If I could give this no stars I would. I have never met more disrespectful staff in my life who continued to berate me while I was crying. They treat you like you’re an massive inconvenience to them and act like they’re really hard done by despite the fact that it is their JOB. It is a working farm not a country b&b and I would not recommend to anyone. AVOID.
