The Dahlias is a beautiful vacation villa made up of two seperate buildings with a shared infinity pool. It is located in the quiet area of A'Famosa Golf Resort, which is conveniently accessible via Simpang Ampat Toll Exit at the North-South Expressway. Situated along with other private residences, this villa is of walking distance to the Club House and the resort's main entrance.
The house is super clean at every part of it. Love the environment. Once check in, feels so great and homie. Pools between villas is a great idea for a big family or a group of people to choose for a vacation. Definitely will come again.

19straatheeren is a small homestay situated in the heart of old town Melaka. Located in a 400 year old Dutch era townhouse, we are a walking distance from many points of interest within the historical town.
Stayed here 2 nights at RM383 per night for Quadruple room with 1 double bed and 2 sofa beds. Come with breakfast for 3. Location is superb along Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. The entrance is at the other side of the road. From H & M – walk along Lorong Hang Jebat where Sid’s Pub@Jonkers is – turn right to a small road facing Casa de Rio. The hotel is just there. From the outside, it actually looks like a double storey home. There is no big signage of the hotel name. Many coffee joints and restaurants are within walking distance. Room is big with one double-bed and 2 soda beds. Very high ceiling. Décor is very minimal and simple. One aircon unit with 2 ceiling fans. Bathroom is clean with functional facilities. As this room is facing the road, it can get a little noisy at times. There is no kettle provided. Only a glass bottle of water. However, tea and coffee is provided throughout the day at the kitchen on the ground. Wifi is not stable. I am rather surprised there is no room cleaning unless requested. Checking with the owner, she mentioned normally they will ask the guest if room cleaning is required for those staying more than a night. I suppose they overlooked this time. I was not being asked. Breakfast is served at the kitchen. Simple food like nasi lemak, toasted bread, Nyonya kuek. It is self service. Staff is polite and friendly. Check-in and out is straight-forward.

Pros: - cheap - right in the jonker street - bathroom is clean, hot water works well. - garden theme interior - friendly staff Cons: - staff doesn't stay 24 hours. It's hard for a late check in guest - wooden floor, creaking when you steps, if you're a light sleeper, this hostel might not suitable - bed too soft Overall: This is a nice place, will go back to this hostel when we visit Melaka again

If you are looking for a place to stay in Malacca, I will recommend staying at Villa D’Aqua. The family conceptualizes their dream into reality by revitalizing this plot of land into a staycation paradise. Staying at Villa D’Aqua is very much like being at home, with interaction among the family members and friendly staff. The rooms are very spacious!

We genieten van ons verblijf hier, alle comfort en zeer netjes. We voelen ons hier thuis.

thinking it was a bungalow villa, the place should be equipped with better facilities. The toilets are all run down. the toiletry has been there for ancient. The kitchen wasn't equipped with anything except for fridge and cups. Come on people wont come to an area and rented a villa without using the kitchen. Moreover, there will be penalty for dirty towel and bed sheets. Ins't that what you should do with the money you are charging the villa?

Rent the whole house for your vacation stay, party, event, wedding function, social gathering or product launches. Narrow & long heritage house with big rooms.2 bicycles FOC for you to cycle around & explore the town. Kitchen for simple cooking. It is very close to all the happening places, 5 mins walk to Jonker Street, 1 min walk to Masjid Kampung Hulu & River Walk.Car park & convenience store opposite.
First of all, the place looks nothing like in the pictures posted on Airbnb. Secondly, it's badly maintained and dirty. We spotted about 5 huge cockroaches in the kitchen and living room. The shower had in one of the bathrooms was on the floor. None of the air-conditioners was working, they were all blowing warm air. We just couldn't spend the night there in the heat, so at midnight we walked down the street and found a hotel at the same price but offering waaaaay better conditions.
We have comfortable spaces to provides warmth, cleanliness and extra spaces for you and your family needs for a perfect holiday experience. The room features a comfy queen bed or single bed with all the daily amenities needed like high speed internet, mini fridge, microwave, TV, comfy sofa set, fully equipped pantry and bathroom.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the 3 bed dorm. The hostel is actually a house and located in a residential area just to the west of Dutch Square, about 5-10 minutes walk. I arrived at the property about an hour before the official check-in time and there was no one there. It was only then I read the check-in instructions that I realised guests are requested to arrange a check in time with the owner. The owner had actually left a note at the front door of the property to let guests know how to get themselves checked in, which was to call a number after which you'll be provided with information for a self check in. It's a little bizarre, but it seems to work. I was also told that there was a water shortage in Malacca and water would only be every second day, although I had no problem getting water in the evenings on either night. The dorm was on the first floor and laid out with 3 single beds and enough lockers for everyone. My bed had a thick, European style firm mattress which was perfect for me. The bed also comes with a thick blanket, but the AC was normally set at 27, so it was warm enough for me to use just the thin blanket cover, but cool enough to sleep. There was a shared bathroom/toilet on the first floor and ground floor. Both of which were clean and functional. The whole time I was there I never saw the owner or any staff, but the guests generally keep the place clean anyway. The hostel also has a living room, a kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities and a dining area. I didn't use these that much as I was out most of the time. Overall I had a good stay and considering the price paid, I got a clean place, comfortable bed and all the facilities expected from a hostel. The set up is strange and not seeing the owner or staff is bizarre.

Welcome to newly open Three Little Birds Home,a simple guesthouse that offers friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. We are located just a stone throw away from Malacca UNESCO Heritage Site. China Town-Jonker Street is only 5 minutes walk away.
The ground floor windows and door all have bars. The electrical switch to open the locked barred door from the inside is temperamental. You need to press it many times before it eventually works. I mentioned this to the duty manager and he agreed it was defective. The back door is blocked by a washing machine. Stay elsewhere if you value your life.
