We chose this place due to the beautiful facility and amenities. Staff was great. Checking in and out was easy. Was hard to access the dryer due to having to push it back. Pull out mattress in the couch was not comfortable. Overall happy with our stay and would go again

My daughter and I stayed here in June for a mini vacation. The staff were super friendly and pleasant. In a time where customer service is pretty much non existent at most places, this place was great. Staff were very pleasant and super accommodating! Raj checked us in and he was super, very informative and pleasant to talk to. I travel quite a bit and will recommend this Marriott property

Welcome to a Siesta Key Village - Beachside. Renovated, Caribbean-style resort offering self-catering rooms. Coconut palms, hammocks. Tiki Huts. Ambiance. Heart of the tropical village of Siesta Key, within walking distance to the #1 beach in America and to the Island nightlife with dancing, restaurants, live music, parasailing and paddle boarding. Our location is rare.
Very small room 2 blocks from the beach. Close to restaurants and bars. Siesta Key beach is wonderful. Beautiful sunset and a great beach for swimming, walking and running. We had an enjoyable one night stay but probably would not go back. Would prefer to be directly on the beach.

The staff were friendly and unit satisfactory. The building I was placed in was adjacent to VERY busy highway with excessive nighttime noise. The daily activity fee for resort amenities is excessive. The amenities are minimal and do not warrant additional fees!

Historic atmospheric gem in the heart of South Beach. The Villa Casa Casuarina, the former Versace Mansion, is home to Gianni’s Restaurant, ten luxurious guest suites and a one of a kind event venue for every occasion.
Liked · Design of the Villa is beautiful, The craftsmanship of the mosaics is amazing, architecture and the interior design of the suites are wonderful. (However now, it's a restaurant with some spare suites the restaurant could not use to serve food so it's rented as a "hotel".) Food: very good Dinner was decent. Our server was very nice and attentive. Breakfast: we were ignored for a bit (pool area), then all of us - 5 people, were relocated due to a canopy repair- just over us. Dirt and rust were falling on us, then ignored again for 20 + minutes, as the other group of 3 people had precedent ( maybe VIPs??? Maybe not) Breakfast food was good otherwise. Disliked · Staff: Arrogant, aloof staff, we were ignored or barely tolerated as hotel guests. (Mostly very young pretty ladies.) Everything revolves around the restaurant as it's the main money maker. Very noisy until 1am, staff shouting, laughing, clearing dishes etc. preparing for the next day - completely ignoring that we're sleeping just next to them behind the door, Our walkway to our room was always rope closed and even if the staff person stood by, they did not make an effort to help. Service: We called at 12:30 at night to ask for the staff to be quiet, nobody picked up the phone. The next morning at 8 am the hotel had floor sanded in the next room, just behind our headboard. We specifically asked for a quiet room ahead of the stay. No Beach or Pool service: Pool - if you think that you can use a pool, you can if you can squeeze between the dining tables that crowd every square inch of what used to be a pool area and then go dripping to no chair, no lounge chair- maybe they would give us extra towels?? (Only 2 bath towels per stay per couple in our bathroom.) So we asked about the beach cabanas or lounge chairs and we were offered portable beach chairs to bring with us. Seriously? And people taking selfies everywhere.

You’ll find that our rooms offer everything you need for a weekend getaway, with kitchens, Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs. There’s sure to be something fun for the whole family.
Had an issue with the booking, left a message and no one bothered to call me back. Never sent an email with instructions on how to check in or where to park which is a real issue in that area. Called three times with no answer. Stop by the office at 2 p.m. which is before booking time but when they were supposedly cleaning, and no one there. They got my money and that's all they cared about. We'll never book with them again that's for sure.

Escape on your own African safari adventure at this magnificent Resort hotel. Inspired by the traditional African kraal, the horseshoe-curved design offers exquisite views of lush savannas-where over 30 species of African wildlife freely roam. Delight in dazzling pool areas, exciting animal programs and all the comforts of home in our spacious Studios and multi-bedroom Villas.
Lovely hotel, but very expensive. Lovely room, couldn't fault the housekeeping. Booked breakfast a few days ,lovely buffet breakfast but a bit expensive especially as kids pay full$30 at age 10. I didn't like the cafeteria style cafe at all. Have to say the "cast members" were excellent, the service at the hotel was brilliant and genuine. Beautiful view from balcony,we pushed the boat out for a savannah view. Really lovely but wouldn't do it again as very expensive and you can easily see the animals at the hotel from other view points. Lovely pool, open till 11pm,lovely atmosphere.

We found this cool little hotel and loved it. It's not fancy but the rooms are clean and the property is well maintained. Right across from the beach. It is very quiet and relaxing. Most rooms have a kitchenette. Some have been remodeled. Debbie the manager was great. Highly recommend.
