Travelled to Birmingham from Cornwall for Transatlantic sessions concert at the Symphony Hall! Certainly not disappointed! comfortable seats, brilliant acoustics and a fabulous show. well done to everyone involved! Only downside was the price of drinks at the venue! two very small soft-drinks, over £8 !!! I think that is a bit cheeky!

Priory Visitor Centre

Step back in time, and explore Coventry's Medieval past at the Priory Visitor Centre, Priory Gardens and Undercrofts. For hundreds of years, the ruins of Coventry's first Cathedral ,originally founded by Earl Leofric and Lady Godiva, lay hidden beneath the city centre. In 1999, the Coventry Archaeological Team and the TV programme 'Time Team' began to excavate the site, uncovering the remains of medieval buildings as well as a stunning 14th century wall painting, and relics from nearly 1000 years of Coventry's history. Today, visitors to the Priory can explore some of the incredible finds from the excavations, discover the amazing story of Coventry's first Cathedral, and walk in the footsteps of our medieval ancestors on a tour of the beautifully preserved Priory Undercrofts.

Having visited Lady Herberts Garden and the Canal Basin, which were very disappointing, we then came across what was the highlight of our Coventry visit, The Priory Visitor Center!. Paul gave us a brief history of Coventry and the Cathedral and then took us around to what at first glance looked like an underground carpark, but it was in fact the Undercroft that had been excavated by BBC Time Team. It really was amazing, interesting, atmospheric and quite unbelievable to see all the stones which had been buried for hundreds of years all numbered and explained by Paul. We learnt so much about the Priory, Cathedral and Lady Godiva, in an easy to understand and sometimes humorous way. I can thoroughly recommend this to any one wanting an interesting and informative insight in to Coventry's History, we just wish it was better signposted as we nearly missed this hidden gem, and feel it should attract many more visitors. Thank you Paul and Carole ,good luck with this amazing visitor attraction. Amanda and Karin, Wiltshire.

Before choosing this venue the family looked at other choices in the local area to hold my wife's wake. This venue was last on our list as we thought it would be the most expensive. In fact for what we knew we were looking for it proved to be the best value by far in all aspects. A lovely spacious suite( The Bridge Suite) with beautiful views and our own bar. We exercised the option to extend the opening hours. The staff were lovely and polite and the quality and quantity of the food exceeded our expectations so much so that the food area was replenished frequently without having to be asked. Have no hesitation in recommending this venue

I am amazed with the new glow up of the library it is very spacious and has endless facilities I love going weekly to revise as it’s nice and quite most of the time. Also love the new kids section however I would’ve preferred if they did that on a seperate side or room as it can get super noisy when they have the toddlers / kids events on and there’s people trying to work, would appreciate if they included a water fountain /bottle filler so people can fill up their water bottles other then that I rlly love the Walsall library and highly recommend everyone pops down as theres something for everyone as they have now included a good few areas in the library which they didn’t have before including the teenage section!! ????????????????????????
