This would be an interesting rest point/toilet break if you are driving up Route 58 towards Nakijin Castle or Churaumi Aquarium or on your return trip. It is open from 08:30 to 19:00 and parking is free. Lunch available includes garlic steak on hotplate and Okinawa taco rice. There are also may stalls selling interesting Okinawa snacks/delicacies/ice-cream which you should try. There is also a supermarket where you can shop for souvenirs and local products and also a counter inside where you can buy discounted tickets for places of interest (eg. Adult ticket for Aquarium at 1,600 yen instead of 1,850 and Nakijin Castle Remains at 320 yen instead of 400). These tickets allow you direct entry at these places and can be used on any day within the validity period.

Full of charms of wonderful Okinawa! Endless blue sky, tropical flowers blooming under the shiny sun and sweet smell of the southern wind. Okinawa, where the unique Ryukyu Kingdom florished from the olden times. Vibrant traditional artifacts and culture are still there. Make your own craft item in Traditional Crafts Village, where you will be welcomed by many old local houses with beautiful red roof tiles, explore Gyokusendo, a stunningly beautiful limestone cave grown on a coral reef, and enjoy heroic Eisa dance and Habu vs Mongoose Show. Okinawa World, where you can experience Ryukyu time now. Enjoy your exceptional Okinawa here. Business hours AM9:00~PM5:00 (last admission) closes at PM 6:00 Open throughout the year
I really had a blast here so I started out by watching a crazy snake show , watched a sea snake and mongoose race in water which came in handy while in the ocean and being on this island. Then we walked I into an underground cave which was cool compared to outside( good break for kids ) the walk was about a mile I think . Then popped out of cave and wound through this shopping local village displaying local art and specialities. ( local alcohol sampling=feeling good shopping. Then after all the shopping I got my feet nibbled on by fish . So many options not even talking about all the food we got and souvenirs.
