The rooftop bar at Circulo de Bellas Artes has a very comfortable style with unique seating spaces and incredible views of Madrid. The food and drinks were good but it can be a lengthy wait for somewhere to sit so it would be a good idea to reserve a seat, especially on one of the lovely lounge chairs! The only thing that disappointed us was the service. We tried our best to order in Spanish but they were very rude and unwilling to help. Luckily, we managed to find a server (Daniel) who single handedly turned our experience around. Although he was not fluent in English, he went out of his way to help us to order in Spanish and to learn the proper grammar and pronunciation. He even took the time to write a list of his favorite local things to do in Madrid and made us feel very welcome in a new country. Well worth the visit but make sure to ask for Daniel as your server and to reserve a table ahead of time!
