My company Total Train Ltd has been using People First Conference Rooms for our training for the last year. Luke and his team are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are always clean, tidy and set out however you want. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful to our team and our delegates. Drinks are plentiful and the hot drinks are actually hot, unlike at some venues. Fresh juice during the day and nibbles go down very well. The presentation equipment is excellent, especially the conference room with the large projection view. Excellent value for money.

The Original strong room, in the visitor Information centre in the old bank on main street, Kirkby lonsdale has become a story bank. The safety deposit boxes keep safe films with fascinating characters and stories from the areas past and present. A great attraction and good start to your visit to this beautiful market town
The vault may be located at the back of the Town and Tourist Information Shop, but is well worth seeing if you love your local history in the Lune Valley or your history as it tells you so much about the area even if you are staying nearby or passing through the town as the vault is original as the building itself was a bank. I may have lived in the area all my life and seen two information videos, but will be listening to all of it soon and learning even more information about the famous names and the stories that made Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding area well known to so many and is also interactive to so it's great for friends, families, couples, on your own or businesses and anybody who loves history, so it's a great way to introduce yourself to Kirkby Lonsdale as a new person or family in the local area, or as a resident who is proud to live there and know the history of the area you call home or remind yourself of it.

Here to help visitors and locals. Pop in for leaflets, guides and advice from our friendly advisers about the local area of Keswick and around Derwentwater, and around the Lake District National Park.
Right in the middle of town this building used to be a prison. Some very detailed books here and well worth a look in. Staff are very knowledgeable.

We stopped in Bampton on a day tour that covered many of the filming sites for Downton Abbey. There's a real library that has books you can check out, but we just went into the part that had displays regarding the filming. It was interesting to see the photos as to how the village was transformed for the filming. Souvenir items were for sale and because it's such a small room it was quite cramped. If you're a Downton Abbey fan, it's worth stopping in Bampton and seeing all the locations used, including the library.

They were so friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome to the town and region. We met the Major who allowed us a peep at the 11th Century Moot Hall - fans of Harry Potter will spot the reference. Worth a stay

Very helpful tourist information centre. We called in on the way to Orrest head and picked up some maps for ideas for walks.
