It’s been 200 years or so since he lived here, but Mozart is still very much Salzburg’s favorite son. Visit the composer’s residence and birthplace, then explore the Altstadt (Old City), taking in the baroque architecture. If your musical tastes run more "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens" than "Requiem in D Minor," catch one of the many Sound of Music tours and follow in the footsteps of the Von Trapps.

A rickshaw tour is an unforgettable experience along Salzburg's bike trails. Everybody loves this special kind of transport, whether chilcdren or grown-ups. It's great fun and enables you to see a lot of things within a short period of time - ideal for short-stays or to get an overview at the day of your arrival. Learn about the City and pass the Sound of Music sites of the film, if you are a fan. Lean back and enjoy the special service from your personal driver. Besides: you always get the front seat!

We came here several times to commute while we were on holidays back in January 2018. Great service to Zell-am-see, Bad Hofgastein and Bad Reichenhall across the border in Germany! Lots of stores as well, including Spar....(loved their fresh Orange Juice!) where one can get goodies and snacks for the train! Staff were very welcoming, courteous and patient, and explained everything. They even helped us out by giving us the cheapest options which we would not have known, had we just followed the info online on the OBB website!

We visited Salzburg and bought a Salzburg card. Great value for money. We travelled out of town, back and forth from airport, and around city centre. Buses were clean, punctual and easy to use. I’d recommend using the Obus from the airport and around the centre.
