We actually used Dorset Tours sometime ago and rebooked again this year. Unfortunately lockdown has prevented us from traveling so we are hoping to use them again in 2022! I just wanted to express what a pleasure it has been itinerary planning and dealing with Sally over the last few months. Would recommend, especially if you are in the Weymouth and Portland area. Thanks.

Discover some of the most scenic coastline in southern England on a coach trip from Bournemouth. Travel to the famous Jurassic Coast, via Poole Harbour and Sandbanks, to experience the nation's first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit both Lulworth Cove and the natural limestone arch of Durdle Door for 3 hours at your own pace but with plenty of information and maps to help you along the way. Have a cream tea or fish and chips in one of the many tearooms, cafes or pubs in the village of West Lulworth. The departure point in Bournemouth has great connections with trains and coaches making this a great day trip from London and the South East. Not just for the summer! This trip runs all year and provides an amazing day out, even in the depths of winter, just be sure to wrap up warm and look forward to a hot drink in one of the cosy pubs or cafes once you have blown the cobwebs out.
Inclusions: Round-trip shared transfer, Driver/guide, Live commentary on board, Local guide, Professional guide, Pickup and drop-off from designated meeting points

This trip was a really spontaneous decision right before the end of the summer, but it ended up being one of its best parts! Paul is a fantastic guide with plenty of interesting stories and details to tell about the places! Was a joy to listen to him, as well as to explore on your own, since everybody was given time to do so at each stop. Throughout the trip the weather went through every change imaginable, but the it didn't make the experience any less enjoyable (in fact, the opposite!).

Your experienced Private Driver Guide takes you to arguably the most beautiful counties of England and Britain. Dorset, Devon and Cornwall have some of the most picturesque and quaint English villages with thatched cottages, historic churches and welcoming country pubs serving excellent food and drink. There is also the opportunity to visit the dramatic Jurassic Coast with its steep cliffs, and breathtaking rocky outcrops. We also visit the wild and rugged terrain of Dartmoor and hear many stories that have originated from this spectacular landscape. The following day is spent on the northern coast exploring the beautiful villages of Clovelly and Port Isaac, where the TV series, Doc Martin is filmed and there are more opportunities to taste the local cuisine and try the local beers from this part of Britain. There are a range of things to to on the final two days - exploring St Ives and Mount St Michael or the Eden Project to name just a couple. The tour is tailor-made to your needs.

Welcome to another great London away-day. You will travel through England's counties and countryside to Durdle Door. Here you will have a great time to explore the splendid rock formation that overlooks the English Channel with a beautiful, natural calcareous archway. Did you know that The Jurassic Coastline is a World Heritage Site in England? About 25 million years ago, the African tectonic plate hit the European plate causing huge pressure to build the alpine chain. A layer of hard calcareous stone, almost vertically out of the seabed, formed the Durdle Door itself. Heading to the east, we will reach the lovely beach city of Bournemouth. You will find plenty to see and do here. Bournemouth beach is the ideal location regardless of the weather or time of the year, whether it's chilling on a deckchair and walking along traditional seaside piers or a relaxing beach hut. Not only Bournemouth but also Lulworth Cove will amaze you with its natural wonder. Join us for a great day out!
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Bottled water, Fuel surcharge, Parking Fees, Private transportation

We are going to start this great tour with a visit to Weymouth where you can take some pictures of the famous and picturesque Harbour of Weymouth, we will have a quick stop at Greenhill Gardens and Sandsfoot Castle. Next, we will visit Durdle Door, one of the Jurassic coast’s most iconic landscapes. Our next stop will be Lulworth Cove, a geographical gem. The cove itself is a grey pebble beach bustling with families in the summer. Then we will head to one of the most popular locations to visit in the corner of Dorset. Corfe is a village full of history which offers a unique range of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and tea houses. It is well worth a visit!! After a visit to the castle what about relaxing over a cappuccino or a full Dorset cream tea whilst enjoying the stunning scenery of the Purbeck Hills. Last stop, Swanage, a small seaside town in the south east of Dorset. Missing you already !!

The Jurassic Coast is a truly outstanding place to explore Earth’s history, the evolution of life and the natural processes that shape our world. Fossils teach us about prehistoric life. Along the Jurassic Coast fossils help to show how life adapted and changed as 185 million years slowly passed. Here we find early dinosaurs and pterosaurs, forests that grew before the first flowers appeared, and giant marine reptiles more powerful and ferocious than any T-Rex. Lulworth Cove makes for a superb day out for all ages. A beautiful secluded cove whose existence is owed to the collision of continents and the birth of the Alps. Walking the South West Coast Path at Lulworth Cove is a brilliant experience, offering stunning views across the Jurassic Coast Walking the coast path to the east of Lulworth Cove brings you to the incredible geological formations of Worbarrow Bay and the mysteriously abandoned village of Tyneham. To the west is the iconic Durdle Door
Inclusions: single-use masks and gloves, Air-conditioned vehicle, Bottled water, Parking Fees, Private transportation, WiFi on board
Exclusions: Entry to any meusum or other Historical sites, Gratuities
I went to Cutty Sark for a touristy day out as it has a very prime location in Greenwich. The interior is lovely but the prices are way off! Even though the history is important, it dragged on for long and became disinterested very quickly. The only good bit is when you reach the top of the ship which overlooks The Thames and the rest of Greenwich but wasn't worth all that money I spent on my family and myself. Wouldn't recommend for families for a fun day out, go to Greenwich market and park instead!
