#Itsaboutthejourney - Our hike is in the midst of the beauty and biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest, the route is part of an unpaved road, part of trails that require resistance and physical preparation. With many attractions along the way, such as the viewpoint of Curva da Morte ☠, Poço dos Soldados, stone pavement (made by enslaved people and widely used in the 19th century), Caxadaço beach, a small paradisiacal beach with crystal clear water very inviting to the practice of snorkeling that is hidden behind a huge wall of rocks that makes it invisible to those who sail even close to the coast, for this reason it was often used by pirates and slave ships for the trafficking of enslaved people. To complete this spectacular walk, we arrived at Lopes Mendes a wild beach that is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world where we will have free time to enjoy this earthly paradise.

Inclusions: Bilinguie Guide, Guided guide in groups of up to 8 people, Curve of the Death, Well of the Soldiers, Calçada de Pedras, Caxadaço, Lopes Mendes, Pouso, Return Boat from Pouso Beach to Vila do Abraão

Exclusions: Food during the event.

Hotel pick up was timely in a comfy van. We were then transferred to a bigger bus for the 2.5 hour trip to the port town of angra dos reis. From there we were divided into 3 boats (there were about 30 people in total this day) and we headed out to our first of 3 stops. The first spot was okay for snorkeling...the beach was dirt and littered with plastic and other trash that went into the water, but there was still plenty of fish to see. We had snacks (fries, caipirinhas, crackers, little sweets) and stayed at this spot for about 45 mins. The second site was fun, we docked our boat and listened to music, took pictures with the gopro and jumped into the water for about 25-30 mins. then we went to the spot where we had a buffet lunch and then hiked to up to see an alleged home of Pablo Escobar and take pictures at a vista. We were at the lunch spot for about an hour or more. It was a little boring here because it wasn't really a snorkeling beach, and the water was pretty cold. The beach at the lunch spot was pretty small and there wasnt many activities available besides walking up and down the small beach. Next up is a small beach that we only took pictures by (we couldnt get off the boat). pretty much pointless. The last stop was Lagoa Azul and we snorkeled here for about 35 mins and took underwater pics with the go pro. This spot was the only one that had other people on it besides our tour group. Lots of colorful fish. Then the longgggg 3+ hour journey home. Overall, the guides (our was Caco) were very friendly. The beaches were lackluster to be honest, and the journey there and back took forever. My snorkel broke at the first stop and I wasnt given a new one, even after I asked. This trip is okay if you want to get out of Rio for a day and not do very much.

Breathtaking scenery from Ilha Grande's best panoramic viewpoint on a 8h tour On this unparalleled experience, we will guide you on a night hike through the Atlantic Forest to watch the spectacular Sunrise at the very top of the Parrot's Peak (Pico do Papagaio) at 982m above the sea level. Pico do Papagaio is the second highest peak of Ilha Grande but the one with the most amazing views of Ilha Grande and surroundings. On clear days you will be able to see as far as "Pedra da Gavea" in Rio de Janeiro. The hike is arduous but the rewards are countless, starting from the hike itself that offers the unique opportunity of encounters with night wildlife on the way up and day wildlife on the way down, the indescribable views from the top, that depending on the date can also be great for stargazing and/or moon watching, to the best Sunrise views you can find in Ilha Grande. An unmissable experience for those who like adventures or looking for a no ordinary tour.
