On a trek my friend and i came across the wild walkers and soon realized their accommodation would suit us more as they were right near the natural landscape, they had villagers working there on the crops who were really friendly, fresh food made from local products and treks with experienced trekkers. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience getting away from technology and meeting locals who knew the land well. There is so much to see and learn about from luscious plants, to edible fruits and tracking animals! We only stayed there for one night so didn't see any elephants but they were nearby. It was great to bathe with fresh eucalyptus in the morning and playing cards by the fire at night. Overall it was just what we were looking for feeling close to nature! Thanks to all there for a great experience! Matt and Joe

Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls. Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, is a hill station in the state of Tamil Nadu, in southern India. Surrounded by trees, central Ooty Lake is a huge artificial expanse of water with pleasure boats. We booked a 9 day golden triangle tour with Royal Rajasthan Travels in Sep. Communication was excellent during planning, booking a bespoke tour for our specific date and location requests. They wrote a seamless itinerary including all hotels, guides at each location, private driver and car for the duration plus connecting train tickets. We went for the 4* accommodation option: the hotels were a mix of modern and traditional luxury hotels, all faultless and in great locations. Our driver Sanjay was the star of the trip and a credit to the company. He knitted the trip together perfectly, always at the right location at the right time, with cold bottled water and an infectious smile. The car was comfortable and we felt safe at all times – he was clearly experienced on the crazy Indian roads! Although not a professional guide he offered local and cultural knowledge along the journey and on occasions took us to local sights not on the schedule. Nothing was too much trouble for the company and they were very flexible when we wanted to change one of the planned days and add in an evening trip. The guides at each city varied in quality, but overall they were very good. A couple felt a bit rushed but conversely others went above and beyond. The Royal Rajasthan rep in Agra also excellently managed a crisis when our planned overnight train was cancelled, rebooking us on a different train and Sanjay getting us there in record time, meaning we didn’t have a delay at all in the end! Overall it was a fantastic trip: a perfect blend of stress-free luxury and culture. Excellent value for money (much more so than self booking) and we would highly recommend booking a similar tour with Royal Rajasthan Travels.

I booked a domestic, international Meet and Assist transit service with your company for the first time. To say that I am very pleased with the service is to say nothing. I was met with a name placard just at the aircraft, taken by cart to a luggage pick-up area, and stayed at an arrival lounge for several hours to wait for my international flight check-in. Your customer service representative, Ajay, was extremely professional and attentive, really took great care of me as a solo female traveler with a few big suitcases, it was important to me to get an assist and feel safe during my transit time. When the time for my check-in came, another employee, Beny, with her colleague, accompanied me to the check-in counters and helped me go through all the procedures, taking me straight to my boarding gates. It was the best airport experience I had in India. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended!

We have availed 'South India Tours and Travels' services a few times, once for our wedding, for local Trichy travel and for our travel to Thekkady. We have been happy with their services every time. Their drivers are very professional, friendly and are passionate about travel. We did have any issues with delays or coordination stand point. The drivers suggestions during trips were often insightful and helpful, yet not interfering.
