The experience of riding with an eco guide in the vehicle was fantastic. By asking questions, you are also exposed to local culture and plants. The knowledge of the guide (Senzo) regarding the animals and birds contributed greatly to our day at Imfolozi.

Don’t miss a trip to Lesotho while you are in South Africa. Stunning sceneries, beautiful encounters with the locals . Our guide from Roof of Africa. Was very knowledgeable and courteous but also the best driver I met. I highly recommend this organization to anyone who plans to visit Lesotho. They did everything possible to please and accommodate us. The guide even spotted a very traditional ceremony celebrating manhood of some villagers , without him we would have missed it. He taught us a lot on their culture and also helped us interact tactfully with the people who were not Used to seeing foreign tourists. He was also very environmental friendly . Out of the 74 countries visited to date, Lesotho remains one of my favorite ones partly due to the way I visited it .

Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park is the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa. This 96000 hectare Park is home to the African Big 5, Wild Dogs, Cheetah and much more. Historically this is also the Park that single-handedly saved the Rhinos from near extinction in the '60s when less than 100 Rhinos roamed the planet. King Shaka also made use of the southern section (Umfolozi) as his personal hunting grounds in days gone by. This park not only offers the most magical sights and sounds but some fascinating historical facts. All of our rangers have numerous years of experience in their respective fields and will undoubtedly ensure that you have a marvelous day out on your Full-Day Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park Safari.

The trip is also excellent value for money, and includes park entry fees, transport, breakfast and drinks along the way. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book Monzi Tours and these guides again. Thank you!

Freddie, our amazing guide, was the best part. We arrived by cruise ship, 2 hour late. He waited and reorganized our tour so we missed only one small thing I can't even remember. We saw everything else including lions and hippos after the best time with the Zulu performance. I would give him more stars if I could. At the end of the tour, his boss called to make sure we were taken care of. When I spoke to him, he pretty much said it went so well because we had Freddie. Freddie knew every nuance of our visits....how much time to allow, what to pass over more quickly, where to spend the most time. Thanks to all of you.

Hoping this is the right place to write this review. We recently spent two weeks in South Africa. Our trip started with a 5-day safari. After that, we spent the rest of our time visiting other parts of the country. With the exception of the safari, all other activities were managed by Africa Answers who in turn used Thompson's. I cannot say enough about either company. We travel internationally extensively and always live by the manta, "what can go wrong, will, and just roll with it." Not one misstep on the entire trip. We visited Cape Town, the Wine Country, and Johannesburg. We were met promptly at the airports (even when one flight was four hours late). Our pickups for tours were always at least 15 minutes early. Our tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The vans were more than big enough, clean, and stocked with cold water. If you are looking for tour providers, please consider with Thompson's or Africa Answers (which will utilize Thompson's). Thanks to them...our trip was a great experience.
