I spent 8 days in the company of Sunny from ScheduleNGo on a tour of southern Yunnan province. Visiting such places as the Stone Forest, the World Heritage listed rice paddies of Honghe, tea plantations and the Water Splashing Festival. Sunny was very attentive, informative and a safe driver. I have been doing this trekking since from 2003 till now.None of my group or clients have said that it’s not good place for trek or hike.They said it’s awesome and the views of the Meili snow mountains in the morning from window is spectacular.

This was our second time to Yunnan province and our first time to Dali and this tour made us fall in love with Dali! We were staying in kunming for a 3 day weekend and decided to go to Dali for the day, this tour gives you all it promises and more. It was very easy to book and communicate with the company via WeChat. Even though it was a holiday and we only gave them a few hours notice (not to mention the middle of a pandemic) they arranged everything quickly and hassle free. Everything from that day (from leaving our hotel room in the morning to returning to our hotel at night) was extremely simple thanks to the tour company. Our tour guide, Linda, was the best tour guide we have ever had! She helped us with everything and showed us the real Dali, her English is extremely good so make sure you ask for Linda if you go! Even though we already did this trip, we would definitely do it again without hesitation! Also the lunch is absolutely out of this world, make sure you choose the traditional Dali Chinese food option it is so good and let's you taste real traditional local food.
10. Shangri-la Luxury Day Trip to White-Water Terraces & Tiger Leaping Gorge
White Water Terrace (Baishuitai) is located in Sanba Township 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the Shangri-La county seat. Measuring 140 meters (about 459 feet) in length and 160 meters (about 525 feet) in width, it is one of the biggest such terraces in China. The terrace is covered by a layer of white deposits of calcium carbonate crystallized in the spring water. In addition to the spectacular terrace itself, visitors can also learn about the ethnic Naxi minority and folklore in the nearby Baidi village. Tiger Leaping Gorge is the longest, deepest, and narrowest gorge in the world. Around 18 km(11.23 miles) in length, it is located at the upper reach of the Yangtze (Jinsha) river.
