We had an amazing day with Nuno. He took us to off-road areas, he was patient with us ans taught us all of his knowledge about the plants and the local history. Madeira is the whole world in a tiny size: within a 15 minutes drive one can feel in Ireland, in Hawai or in Central Asia. All of these with the soft-temper of Nuno and the Portuguese. I was concerned this day-trip could be a tourist rip off as one experiences sometimes. But it was not and we had an unforgetfull day. Do not pass on this day-trip!

Travel into Madeira’s hilly interior to the village of Santo da Serra. The community’s market is one of the week’s key social events, and you’ll see a blend of islanders and visitors mingling in the aisles, gathering shopping and souvenirs. There is farm-fresh produce, homemade sweets, and the island’s traditional rum punch for sale, and plenty of places to stop and snack as you wander. Following your time in the Santo da Serra market, continue to the nearby gardens, where you’ll find a network of quiet paths that are perfect for a Sunday stroll. Begin the return trip to Funchal, with a stop along the way to visit Santa Cruz, a coastal city that’s Madeira’s second-largest community. Take an easy-going walk on the seaside promenade, then continue to Funchal, where this 3-hour tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

we arrived on a cruise in December, my mother was on an electric scooter. we contacted the accessible wood company which type of tour they advised, since my mom totally depends on the scooter. Mr Tiago Camacho advised half a day passing by the viewpoint, all in glass I think it's called Cabo Girao. It has a beautiful view, we stopped at the cafe and used the toilets, despite being expensive. We passed a place where there were many wines, I tasted one that was very sweet, my mother was a little happy. We bought some bottles to offer. Mr. Tiago and Guia, I think it was Joao, were very friendly and attentive, they helped us always. we never went to madeira island. I hope to return one day. Thank you very much to the team.
