Paralimni (Greek: Παραλίμνι) is a town situated in the southeast of Cyprus, slightly inland, within the Famagusta District. Since the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, it has increased in size and status, due to the migration of many refugees fleeing from the north. Many of the people who work in the tourist industry of Protaras and Ayia Napa live in Paralimni, which is now the temporary administrative centre of the Famagusta District and the biggest municipality of the Greek Cypriot-controlled area of the district.

We visited the zoo the other day, it has most animals you could think off, they seemed well kept for the most part, a zookeeper mark allowed us to get a once in a lifetime photo with a giraffe, and you could tell he cared deeply about the animals, thought it was a great day out. We did think the monkey enclosures could be bigger and were a little on the small side, again with the birds and the ostriches. But other than that, the majority of the animals seemed to have big time enclosures and plenty of space to roam. And they are all rescue animals from what I understood, so have deffo got a better quality of life. I wouldn’t eat there though we went to the cafe which had run out of hand sanitiser when we entered, so we informed the staff, but then when we left it still hadn’t been refilled which during corona times is quite irresponsible. But if you like going to the zoo, take your own lunch and hand sanitiser and you will have a good day out ????

DIVING FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS We dive most days around the Protaras and Cape Greko area. These dive sites offer excellent conditions with visibility up to 30m. The sea is usually very calm and the currents are mild. Our most popular dive site is Green Bay which is only a few minutes from Poseidon dive centre. This is ideal for Discover Scuba divers and also certified divers, especially those that haven't dived for a while. Green Bay offers an easy entry and exit so is ideal for those not able to climb rocks to get in and out of the water.

If you are scuba diver this company is for you. You can easyly rent any type of cylinders with any kind of air, nitrox, 100% oxygen. Any you want and your sertification let you! Also they offer new high quality equipment for rent for reasonable prices! If you are group of divers they can make good offer for you! Very good staff, offer you tea coffee and water while you are waiting refilling of cylinder. Highly recommend this company! Next year I will come back with group of divers and we will use service of this company! Thank you! You are great guys made our holiday incredible!

Was in Cyprus in 2018 and dived with the guys from this dive center. It was interesting: we visited several places and a sunken ship! I was very pleased!
