Our driver was amazing. We had planned kumbalgarh from udaipur, but it was closed, so Shankar suggested us Chittorgarh. He even arranged a tour guide for us. The cab was really clean and well maintained along with complentary water bottles for the passengers. Our experience was really smooth and amazing

The basement of this colossal temple is spread over 48,000 sq-ft. There are four entrances to the main chamber where the idol of Adinath is placed. Somebody asking you for extra money, no buddy showing instead you have done your payment. So “no trouble” means a lot here. I’m the sense of this “safety” and “trust”, I recommend to join this tour. Actually there’s not much mindblowing experiences, but at least this tour would exceed your expectations.

My sister and I booked with Indian Holidays travel for the first part of our three week trip around India. Veeru was great to deal with while planning in advance and was able to adjust the tour to fit our needs. We were satisfied with the price point and all accommodations. We were greeted by Kalyan and Veeru at the airport at around 4am which was a kind gesture. Kalyan was an excellent driver and companion for the trip around Delhi, Agra and Jaipur - we enjoyed chatting with him and learning about his family. Veeru also arranged for our travel in Amritsar where Pal was a great driver as well. We also had excellent guides, and particularly learned a lot from Khan in Agra, Dilip in Jaipur, and Happy in Amritsar. Overall our favourite place was Amritsar for its offerings - the Golden Temple, going to an Indian wedding with Happy and our ultimate destination of the Wagah-Attari border. It was the best day ever! I enjoyed every second of it. So much excitement at the border and felt part of something very patriotic. Two areas of complaint would be that we did not have great communication about what we would be doing each day. Despite being on the itinerary, we missed out on a number of things because the guide determined we didn't have enough time, even though it wasn't discussed with us what we would prefer doing. Also be cautious that guides in India will always try to take you to an expensive, tourist restaurants that we did not request. Even after repeatedly telling guides we preferred a dhaba or something cheap, we would still end up somewhere that would cost the same as nice dinner out at home. They will also take you to expensive tourist shops that did not interest us and we found wasted a lot of time because we knew we weren't going to buy marble, carpets, etc.

If you would like to see into the real heart of Jodphur If you flinch from “guided tours” that package places into neat itineraries, separating you from what is really happening Then - look no further RAM’S YOUR MAN. He does not impose a schedule but by listening to our own ideas and threading them through with his own vast knowledge he managed to let us feel we were true native inhabitants of this glorious city. And this within a very few days. Not only did he whisk us round the magnificent Merangarh Fort at just the right time to see the spectacular feeding of birds, but finessed our return one magical evening to dine in moonlight on the Fort’s ramparts. Of course we went on foot to back streets bursting with all the goods he helped us bargain for, and further afield in hair raising tuk tuk rides to other markets and emporia. The colours and smells overwhelmingly heady and the noise! I don’t think we would have got out alive without Ram’s reassuring presence! On occasions where he didn’t need to accompany us, he still perfected all the arrangements.. unobtrusively and constantly thinking ahead for us. He helped with our onward train journey to Jaisalmer and was there for us once more when we returned for our last few days in Jodphur .
