Lansdowne Plantation was built in 1853 by George Marshall I, and his wife, Charlotte Hunt Marshall. The house boasts Greek Revival style architecture and fine Rococo furnishings. The house is currently owned and occupied by the fifth generation of Marshalls, but there are seven generations and counting. Daily tours are by appointment only.
