It’s always hard to fill the shoes of someone who used to do your job very well. If you’re the choirmaster at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, guess whose shoes you have to fill? Bach’s. (No pressure.) Leipzig is closely connected to classical music—Wagner was born here, and Mendelssohn established a conservatory here in 1843. If you’re more of a melancholy, contemporary type, visit during the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, billed as the world’s largest "dark" (Goth, industrial, punk, etc.) music festival.

This amazing Riksha Tour in the heart of this amazing city Berlin, is one of the best which I did with my girl friend. Ufuk is an original “Berliner”, which knows hidden places and corners in his hometown. And he himself is an alive, entertaining and good hearted person which is really caring for his guests and playing amazing good vibes music with his sound system! But don’t worry, if you like it silent, then it will be silent. Enjoy the ride with the best Riksha driver and city guide in Berlin!

Because of a knee injury I can’t walk much and the bicycle tour with Jerry was the best that could happen to me. We met at Alexanderplatz and he found me a good bike and adjusted it well so I could get on and off easily. 3.5 hours sounded much at first, but it was perfect and I could handle it well even without training. We saw a lot of places and he gave quite interesting information. Some of the places I hadn’t even known about - even after 10 visits to Berlin. On a bike you can get much closer to the objects of interest than by bus or boat. Also you can take as much time for taking photos and answering questions as needed. It was a very interesting and fun tour that I highly recommend. Maybe next time I’ll take another one of his tours. Jerry is a fascinating tour guide and is adding a lot of humor to the interesting Information he shares. If needed he switched between English and German. Thanks Jerry – keep up the good work! Gilu

The tour starts in the city harbor Leipzig, only a few minutes walk from the city center. Due to the central location in the Leipzig water system, this is the perfect starting point for exploration tours. You will meet your guide here and get a detailed introduction to paddle technology and safety aspects. From the city harbor we drive past the villa of the famous publisher family Baedeker and the imposing Palmgarten weir on the Elsterflutbett. From there it goes over Pleiße and through the raft ditch to Cospudener See. Here we cross the lake in a south-easterly direction, to convert from the shore of the lake, the boats through the empty Elster flood bed in the White Elster. Here are also those canoeists at their expense, who like a little more current. With the flow of the natural Elsterverlaufs it goes to Leipzig. Past the Leipzig Canoe Club and through Schleußig and Plagwitz the tour leads back to the city harbor Leipzig.
