We travelled with the AAT Kings 3 day tour to Kakadu and Arnhem Land explorer. It was well worth the occasional bumpy ride in the 4 Wheel drive in Arnhem Land. The guide, Nick, was a mountain of information. The small number of tourists on the trip made for a more interesting visit to this amazing place which took us to rock art paintings, local communities and wonderful landscapes. All expertly explained by our knowledgeable guide.

This was Cate and my second experience of travelling with Adam - Darwin to Broome and we brought a friend. The first being Arnhem Land in September 2019. Being Queenslanders Adam and Lucy had to alter the trip for us. Cate and I feel very safe with Adam and trust his judgement without question. His knowledge of the land we travel is second to none. Adam always has a historical story to tell on all places visited. I would highly recommend Adam and Lucy if you wish to discover the delights and history of Australia’s Top End. Wake up, get up, pack up is the start to every day’s discovery. Many thanks to Lucy and Adam, we will return. Geoff Leeming - Brisbane

Great trip getting to see the top end of WA including the Bungle Bungles and heaps of gorges for swimming. Had some issues with the bus but our guide Damien dealt with it really well and made sure it didn’t impact the trip. I would definitely recommend this trip to a friend.

Tom Curtain is a great horse man and really good bloke. The show is a must see for those who have not visited the outback and seen how horses are tamed and dogs trained to herd cattle etc. on top of that he is a significant supporter of Dolly’s Dream (charity to ending bullying) and highlighting that farmers have withstood fires and floods but are ‘still here’. PS: It has also been a long time since I have had an icey pole ????

Tim never answers his phone or replies to any emails. We had a trip booked for September 20 and was canceled dew to Covid 19. We were told it would be rebooked 12 months later. I have tried to contact Tim to rebook another date but to no avail. Seems he has done a runner with our money. Don't trust this company. .

The Top Didj Cultural Experience has been developed to offer visitors to the Katherine Region, a unique cultural interaction with the aboriginal people. This is achieved by introducing Manuel Pamkal from the Dalabon tribe. Manuel will teach visitors the traditional way of living in the bush as he experienced as a child. He will tell stories and showcase traditional activities such as fire lighting, spear throwing with a woomera and painting whilst educating visitors about aboriginal culture and way of life.
Inclusions: Dalabon wrist band, Paints, paint brushes and canvas
Exclusions: no sun screen
It was quite hot on the day in Nov 2020 but it was worth it. The wallabies young ones hanging around on the grounds were very friendly and sweet. Alex and the Aboriginal guide, Manuel, are a worthy duo. Highly recommended.

Kimberley Offroad Adventure was a fantastic way to travel and see the rugged beauty of the outback. Adam was a very experienced tour guide that organised activities that created variety and enthusiasm. We booked in April. Unfortunately both Bungle bungles and Gibb River Road were closed due to residual flooding. The itinerary was also modified due to Covid borders. We were lucky to have some time in Katherine Gorge and extra time in El Questro instead. When the itinerary changed, Adam always had a suitable alternative. We had a fantastic trip. Notes for fellow travellers: Bathers- you spend a lot of time in bathers, including hiking. I would recommend packing several pairs and make sure they are comfortable for activity. Shoes- I decided to take an old pair of runners instead of my hiking boots. I felt like this was the right choice for me as there was a fair amount of hiking along dry river beds and the runners gave me good grip and allowed me to bounce between boulders, and dried really quickly. Laundry- there are washing machines in El Questro that is $5 a wash and takes $1 coins. Just pack some laundry powder scoops in a zip lock bag. Food- I am a fussy eater with a small amount of food allergy but found the meals delicious with lots of variety. Hayfever- the dry grass sent lots of people's hayfever and asthma into overdrive. Bring medication with you. Nothing like sitting on a bus with people sneezing in a pandemic. Camp chores- generally everyone pitches in to assist with camp chores. After a few days everyone finds their niche and the chores take no time. Maps- Google Maps shows a whole lot of nothing in the outback. I would recommend downloading a detailed map before you go. It's always nice to know exactly where you are. Whatsap- consider signing your group up to whatsap to share photos, maps, information as you go. Electronics- there are lots of usb ports on the bus. Normal plugs take a lot more time to charge. Label your cords. Earplugs- whilst it is lovely sleeping with the sounds of the bush around you, unfortunately we had at least one horrendous snorer in our group. Even physical distancing did not mitigate the issue. If things are really noisy, use Earplugs.
