I wish I could be writing a review on the tour itself, but it never happened. I received email confirmation from TripAdvisor that the tour would happen and that my pick-up time was from 6:30-7:30 AM. I waited until 7:55. I emailed them and sent them a message via WhatsApp. No communication. I expect a full refund.

My friend and I hatched a scheme to meet in Santiago for a long weekend (I live in Boston, he lives in London) and we both LOVE to hike. We needed an adventure that we could arrange remotely and that did not require our bringing a bunch of gear. Nicolas and the team at Coigue DELIVERED! We had an absolutely wonderful overnight hike to the Paloma Glacier, complete with terrific meals, multiple condor sightings, incredible star gazing, and every detail taken care of for us - from pre-trip emails explaining what we needed to bring, to prompt pick up at our hotel, to informative, genuine and engaging conversation during the hike itself - 20 miles in two days! I cannot say enough about the entire experience - I would book another adventure with Coigue in a heartbeat (and plan to if I return to Chile any time soon). It's all about the experience (the mountains themselves haven't changed much in 100 million years or so) and Coigue knows how to do it right...

There was chaos in arrivals & we were approached by an official looking chap who had all the correct id, had our name on his list & knew which hotel we were transferring to; there were 3 'assisting' us - they had a very smart mini bus. They insisted we had to pay a "road poll charge". To cut a long story short - they got our debit card & withdrew two lots of £200 from our account. With the help of the lovely staff at the Intercontinental Hotel we managed to put a stop on our card pretty quickly. Our Bank was not surprised at what happened - they said Santiago Airport is notorious for this type of activity. So be very sure your taxi or transfer is official - be vigilant to the point of rudeness if necessary!

A fun evening of music, food and dance. We were at rectangular tables arranged around a central rectangular stage where all the action was focused. The host took us through all the different regions of Chile. Was fully in Spanish, but we enjoyed it just as much. The dancers invited members from the audience for almost every second dance. Our memorable dance as a couple was after a very quick switch from both of us dancing with the dancers followed by each other. The Spanish host was quite eloquent with Frank Sinatra as part of the serenading of an impromptu anniversary celebration of an old Spanish couple. Food needed more spice. The 3 course meal was outstanding otherwise.

Carla and Brian were amazing guides and provided informed and entertaining commentary for our trip out to Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. Communication prior to hotel pick up was great and we had a relaxing time walking the cobble-stoned streets of Valparaiso learning the history and taking in the street art. We had lunch at Vina Del Mar with local beers and Pisco sour cocktails!! Highly recommend this tour or any other tour with Discover Santiago- we would have like to have ventured into the mountains, however, COVID-19 had other plans for us and we had to return to Australia following the cancellation of our holiday.

My girlfriend an I finished our vacation in Chile with a great ride in the Andes led by Matias and Gabriel. Coming from Vancouver BC we are spoiled with great biking and were excited to ride some trails near Santiago. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning and within minutes we were pedaling up singletrack; passing by horses, cactuses, cows and condors! We stopped at the top for lunch with a view with sandwiches provided by Andes Explora. The descent was long, fast and fun. A good trail for all levels of riding with only few challenging technical sections and plenty of opportunity for speed. It was our first time trying an E-Mtb which took some getting used to but allowed us to gain elevation quickly without much fuss. Expect to find technical sections of the climb a bit awkward if you haven't been on an E-mtb before, and once you're off the bike these bikes are heavy to push, so there's still some sweating to be done on the way up. Once the ride was done we were given a cold beer then returned back to our hotel. 5 star, would ride again. Thanks guys!
