During my stay on Sao Miguel Island I did a full day tour & walk with Azores4Travel and it was the best day tour & nicest hike I did on the island. Eleutério showed us the North East side of the island, we did an amazing hike ´Ribeira do Faial da Terra´ through forests and with some waterfalls and we also had time to enjoy the thermal pools in Furnas on the way back. What I really like about Azores4Travel is the very personal service and flexibility. Eleutério knows his home island very well and gives a professional service as a guide with interesting facts and recommendations about the island, but at the same time is very personal and you can sense his own passion for the island, nature and hiking. This gave me a completely different experience than the ´standard tours´, where guides are ´just doing their jobs´. In my opinion, this tour was really the best! You feel as a friend rather than a customer and if you like to do something different than the usual, Eleutério knows all the ´off the beaten track´ secrets for amazing hiking around the island. In addition, they also do ´the standard tours´, so I can really recommend to book all your tours with this company for a more than complete Sao Miguel experience! Highly recommended and I hope to be back one day.
