We recently had the pleasure of a tour around Mousehole with Elaine. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would certainly recommend it. Elaine has so much knowledge and personal experience of growing up here. She has some amazing old photos showing how things were back in the day. We saw parts of Mousehole that we had never seen before. We will certainly be in touch with Elaine next time we are in Cornwall to do another of her walks.

We very much enjoyed this walk in York's City centre that offered a great glimpse of the city's history and character. We particularly liked the guide's (Alfred) perspective and story telling which combines various perspectives, notably architectural and historical. Very professional and captivating. We recommend to purchase his book that is the perfect complement to the visit.

We had such a great trip. Phil and Phil were the perfect double act! Phil no 1 was funny and knowledgeable and read our party well. Phil no2 made sure we had thrills and bumps aplenty. We laughed all the way - even through the hail storm! And 3 stroppy teens are not the easiest to please. Oh and the birthday singing and the goggles for our eyes were much appreciated too! Thanks Thames Rockets - it was fab!

Are you brave enough to uncover some of York’s turbulent and tragic past? A past that manifests itself in the unexplained sightings of shapes and shadows haunting our streets and buildings. Do you believe in ghosts? My name is Mackenzie. I want to take you on a journey through the lanes and snickelways that, if the walls could speak, would deliver some the most chilling stories of all time. I work with small groups from 2 to 30 people. It’s fun and more personal and this way I can get to know you and you, in turn, can ask me questions while we slip, unnoticed into the shadows.
