We had an amazing day with Nuno. He took us to off-road areas, he was patient with us ans taught us all of his knowledge about the plants and the local history. Madeira is the whole world in a tiny size: within a 15 minutes drive one can feel in Ireland, in Hawai or in Central Asia. All of these with the soft-temper of Nuno and the Portuguese. I was concerned this day-trip could be a tourist rip off as one experiences sometimes. But it was not and we had an unforgetfull day. Do not pass on this day-trip!

It is already in the name of this canyon. Ribeiro Frio means cold river in Portuguese. Cold it will be, but beautiful as well! This canyon is in the north side of the island in the laurel forest. We need a 15 minutes walk to the access of the canyon. The canyon has 4-6 rappels depending on water level up to 16 meters. A few jumps will not be missed. The surroundings are really amazing with red coloured rocks and cristal clear water. When the sun reaches the canyon, the whol is nearly a paradise. At the end there is a 10 minutes walk up hill back to the car, where we will warm up a bit. Please note that this canyon only has enough water in winter time. Therefore please ask for availability.

We went on the kings Levada walk with Alvaro our guide ,The walk was an easy one a bit slippery here and there but Alvaro takes care to tell you where and how to proceed at all times ,he was so informative with a fab sense of humour .So we booked another walk with him straight away as we enjoyed it so much .Just be aware you do need boots or good walking shoes when doing these guided walks we saw someone in flip flops attempting the walk he didn’t finish it !! He wasn’t with our group though .

Our journey starts in an almost desolated village at the north side of the Island. The last meters by car are an adventure! We will do one rappel to warm up, before we reach a 55 meter drop that brings us down into one of the most beautiful canyons of Madeira. Between the high walls we continue our journey and we pass water curtains and rocks that range from iron red to copper green colour. Along our way we will do 8 rappels in total and 2 (optional) jumps of 6 and 8 meters high before we will get view on the Atlantic Ocean at the north side of Madeira. The canyon ends with a last rappel trough a waterfall by a hardly recognizable old road to the sea. With views over the north coast we walk in a few minutes back to the road.

Super fun day with an amazing guide (the owner) with a premium Bike. Great track. Easy communcation and he has 20 years of experience with MC. The most fun ive ever had. I recommend you have a lincence or decent experience with motorbike (any kind) in advance along with decent physical shape

I totally recommend the company: my sister and I got in touch with Roberto to book the SUP half day tour in Reserva do Garajau for the next day, he was readily available and even picked us up from Funchal. It was a great experience, the nature reserve is a great area for SUP, the cliffs are impressive, and we were very lucky with the conditions: no currents. All equipment is provided, it is a different way of seeing the island from the outside looking at the cliffs while getting a good workout, definitely a worthy experience!

Our house reef offers a unique underwater world. The protected bay is located directly in front of the diving base and frogfish, seahorses, octopus, moray eels and wonderful tropical fish such as parrotfish, triggerfish, baracudas and much more live on the steep walls. The perfect setting to start the diving experience.

It was my first time on Madeira and started on Saturday afternoon, just a couple of hours after landing. Alice showed me around, Felix helped me out with the weights and tanks and of we went for the check dive. It was the first of many dives I did. Many dive sites for every level of diving. Diversity of life, shore dives, boat dives, wreck dive...you name it, it is here. Very professional and very friendly staff with the guest in mind. Trying to go to as many different spots as possible depending of course on weather, current and other guests. Rental equipment, only by the looks, in perfect condition as I use my own equipment I didn't test the rentals. In the water Felix, Jessica and Sofia always did their outmost best to find the small highlights like seahorses and frogfish, I would have never found on my own. Out of the water, friendly and smiling and really giving you a great time. Tips on restaurants and always in for a laugh. Had an amazing time and I will be back for sure. Thank you all for making my holiday a great experience. Jan
