I bought the boat tour the day before. They contacted me the next day in a timely manner. At first, they said they might have to cancel the tour due to the weather. After I told them that I was looking forward to it and that it was my last opportunity to go on the boat tour before my flight back home, they agreed to continue. I was grateful. Our boat was originally scheduled to leave at 1:30 pm. Unfortunately, we didn't end up leaving until 3:30. During the wait time, the crew seemed unorganized and there was a lack of updates on the boat tour and why it was running late. In the end, about 14 of us boarded the boat and we had a great time. Unfortunately, because we left so late and the weather got cold, we only got to get off the boat a couple of times. Overall, I think it was a success because the beaches and the ocean were so beautiful.

Recommend - The best transfer/taxi service ever! Before our trip to Rio (Nov 2020), we researched many transportation companies but many of them seem unreliable. When we found Rio Taxi Transfer the reviews seem too good to be true but they provided us a service of excellence! Could not have asked for more polite and knowledgeable drivers, more comfortable cars, or an easier booking process. They provided a transfer service to/from Rio - Buzios & airport. Departure from hotels in Búzios going to the cities of Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo. In Arraial do Cabo, considered the Brazilian Caribbean, we will take a 3-hour boat trip to discover the main tourist attractions. The first stop will be Ilha do Farol, a beach protected and preserved by the Navy where we will stay for 30 minutes. The boat follows the tour passing by the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Crack, Pedra do Macaco, Blue Cave and Meteorite Cave where we can take pictures. Our second stop is at Pontal do Atalaia Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Only a small strip of white sand separates the blue of the sea and the green of the mountain. We will have 30 minutes to swim. Our last stop is at Praia do Forno and we will have 15 minutes. In Cabo Frio, where we will have a break for lunch at a buffet restaurant. After lunch, we will make a panoramic visit to Praia do Forte, Forte de São Mateus, and the historic center.

Anderson really made this trip memorable. Thank you Anderson. The statue is dramatic. Must take a camera. The Pao de Acucar has newly been updated for tourism. We had a frustrating experience with this tour company. I don't expect this review to change anything one bit as they cater to locals and cruise ships but I'm going to leave it anyway in case a visitor tries to book privately through Viator. I booked a few months in advance and they confirmed that someone from their company, Stylus, would meet us at a specific pier holding a sign with our name on it. No one was there so I wandered around, finally stumbling upon their office, where the rep there told me to go back to the pier. Another half hour later, after approaching several people for help, I went back their office where the woman there realized her mistake, whoops, and said she'd get us on a later tour. We finally got on one an hour later but it was a frustrating experience getting to that point. The tour itself was fine, just a short ride around the area.
