A group of 8 of us came all the way from Wisconsin to Idaho Springs and had a blast ziplining with Martina and Otter! Thank you guys so much for making us laugh, keeping us confident, and most importantly ensuring we were safe! I am extremely scared of heights but they made sure I had fun! Thanks again. Will be recommending ziplining in Idaho Springs for sure.

Seriously don’t even read the reviews, just book a trip with these guys - you won’t regret it. They’re so well trained and absolutely want you to have the most fun and safest time on the river. You’ll come away with fantastic memories and a greater bond with your family/friends. But if you’re determined to read more before booking then here’s some more info: Our family will never forget the camping and rafting trip we just had. Gomez and Kat went all out to give us memories we will remember forever. We were big theme park fans but I can honestly say that they put theme park rides to shame. The effort Gomez and Kat put into safety, logistics, food, fun, memories and thrills was second to nothing. They adapted the trip to us and absolutely aced handling the changes in logistics. The food was absolutely delicious, and despite us being one of those annoying gluten free families, they sorted all the substitutes and we’ve even come back home with new gluten free recipes and product ideas. Great memories are invaluable and Gomez, Kat, The Dude and Wilderness Aware certainly rank right up there on delivering this!

The team at performance tours was great. We booked a run out of Buena Vista but given the low water level, they recommended that we do Royal Gorge — the recommendation was spot on. Our group loved the Royal Gorge run. The tour guides were great, made everyone in our group feel safe and made a great lunch for our full day trip.

A Via Ferrata, which means “iron way” in Italian, is a method of mountaineering & rock climbing that’s been used in Europe for centuries. Via Ferrata courses use a combination of ladders, rungs, rails, cables and bridges to aid in moving across and up a cliff face. The Iron Way in Idaho Springs is an assisted rock climbing guided tour where guests clip into cables that run along the side of a cliff. They then move along a designated path of iron rungs and bridges to move across, and along the way they will be required to clip in and out of the cable to progress through the course. This is made possible through an advanced internal locking system in the carabiners. Each guest will have 2 carabiners connected to bungee-style lanyards on their harness. The internal locking system makes it impossible to clip out of both at the same time, insuring that climbers are connected to the cable of the course at all times.
