Great place, we stayes for 3 nights ni the parks camp and really enjoyed every minute there. If you like to avoid crowds of people this is the place to go. The park has many giraffes, elephants wonder around the camp.We did morning guarded wall asn we had the guide was excellent!! Camp has very nice challets and good managed restaurant. And it is much cheaper compare to well known parks. Good stop over between St. Lucia / Durban and Kruger. Be carefull with roads marked as 4x4 , some are really rough.

This is a treat for campers .We stayed on a private remote site with rustic private ablutions and a kitchen .The property is large and has animals roaming around .The birds were fantastic with many bird hides to visit .One of the beauties about this property is that one can walk or run on the many dirt roads .The roads are sand but very well maintained .The staff were very friendly and we appreciated the daily clean We will be back

Beautiful place with a lot of trees, being in Dlinza forest will make you feel so small in a good way, you feel so indulged just by being surrounded by nature and all you hear is the sound of chirping birds in their natural habitat.

Remote and little visited, Khambula offers a view of a major Zulu battlefield that has altered very little, with the exception of small areas of forestry planting which in fact do not spoil the view or sense of place. The high point of the site (the British redoubt area) offers sweeping views over all the surrounding fields and an enables an easy appreciaiton of the way the battle played out, with successive attacks from different approaches being fought off. I found it a very evocatvie and fasciniating place.

It may be a paying beach but clean. Toilets are clean. Staff very pleasant. Have nice braai areas at the lagoon.

We stayed in the Reserve and really enjoyed it. Great walks - some easy, some more strenuous. Loved walking through the forest and among the Raphia Palms. This is where you can see the Palmnut Vulture, which we did. In South Africa, only found here and Mkuze.
