The Thermal Beer Spa is located inside Széchenyi Spa, so you have two options available to enjoy this doubly intoxicating dip. You can either enter the Széchenyi Spa in the usual manner buying a valid ticket (or book online with us for a combined ticket!), then buy the extra ticket for the Beer Spa. Or if you're feeling like you'd prefer just a soak in alcohol-filled tubs, you can enter without going to Széchenyi too. Look out for our hosts wearing green at any of the three entrances to the building & they will be happy to help you with whichever choice. There are six tubs (25 euro each for two people sharing one tub, or 30 euro to have one tub per person), and two people can soak in each of them, so they aren’t only perfect for relaxation but also if you want to do something memorable on a first date!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Thermal Beer Spa and would recommend this experience to any visitor during their stay in Budapest. There are plenty of thermal baths around the city, however, this place takes it to the next level. Bathing in 36-degree thermal water drawn straight from the source, combined with beer ingredients makes relaxing in the tub a truly unique experience to be enjoyed by anyone! To make it even more exciting, you get to pour yourself unlimited pints of cold Czech beer and nibble snacks to your heart's content. We'd recommend Thermal Beer Spa for couples, friends and groups, especially if you're seeking a unique hangover cure. You don't even need to be a huge beer lover, although if you are, you'll have double the fun. Changing rooms, lockers and showers are available to guests and there is wheelchair access for those needing extra assistance. The staff are super friendly too. They show and explain the ingredients that go into your bath before you hop in, and will even double up as your photographer if you want some great shots of you chilling in beer. Thanks for an awesome experience Thermal Beer Spa

A large square constructed in 1896 for the millennium of the Magyar Conquest of Hungary. The square's Millennial Monument is flanked by the Fine Arts Museum and the Mucsarnok Art Gallery.
We arrived at the destination of the Heroes square only to be a little confused as the square was completely enclosed with high advertising sheets and temporary seating erected around the square as a special celebration day was taking part in that of juvenile horse racing. No seating available to watch the celebration. We eventually found an entrance to gain a sight of the Heroes Sq. It's the largest and most impressive square in Budapest. The Millennium Monument. It is situated at the end of Andrassy Avenue &next to City Park. It is surrounded by two important buildings the Museum of Fine Arts & Kunsthalle ( Hall of Art). The Millennium Monument in the middle of the square was erected to commerate the 1000 yr old history of the Magyars conquest. The Arch Angel Gabriel stands on top of the centre pillar, 36mtrs high holding the Holy Crown & the apostolic Double Cross of Christianity. The Chieftains who led the Magyar tribes to Hungary are featured on the plinth between the colonnades to the left and right. Statutes of the Kings and other important historical figures stand on top of the colonnades on either side of the centre pillars. If you look on the left of the colonnade the last five spaces were reserved for members of the ruling Hamburg family dynasty. The Hamburg Emperors were replaced with Hungarian Freedom fighters when the Monument was rebuilt after WW11. At the front of the Millennium Monument is a large stone Cenotaph surrounded by an ornamental Chain. The Cenotaph is dedicated "To the Memory of the Heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of the people & the National Independence". To get to Heroes Sq take the metro M1 (Millennium metro) to Hosok Tere station. It's worth a visit to the square both during the day and night, then walk along Andrassy Ave to window shop or sit and have a quiet drink and watch the world go by or stroll over to City Park where the winter skating takes place

Impressed with the architecture and it is unexpectedly amazing, strolling from Hero Square, lead to thermal Bath and pass through nice park & it is right there. Definitely worth a visit

Built in 1896 for the Millennial celebrations, this large complex houses 21 exact replicas of the most magnificent and historic buildings of Hungary.
Vajdahunyad castle is definitely a must, when in Budapest ???? It offers you cool architecture, nice park area for a walk and also agricultural museum ???? It's one of the most beautiful small castles that I have seen, especially in the winter time ????

We showed up 5 minutes before a 3pm Sat performance and bought Premium Seats without problem. They weren’t expensive but I’d say seats anywhere will give you a good view if you’re on a budget. The permanent “tent” is very cool as is having a live band accompany the acts. The only animals in the show were a poodle troop, which I think is fine. Apart from that there was a radio control plane act, and an assortment of acrobats and trapeze acts. The clowns speak Hungarian but it’s easy enough to follow what’s happening without understanding what they’re saying. I believe this circus is over 130 years so is something of a Budapest institution. It certainly feels like an authentic local experience rather than a tourist contrivance. I’m pretty sure most of the crowd were Hungarian families. If you’re in Budapest and like circus I’d recommend.

The monument at the center of the beautiful Heroes square depicts archangel Gabriel holding the Hungarian crown and the cross on top of a tall column. The column stands on a square pedestal surrounded by the leaders of the seven Magyar tribes. Around the monument is a peristyle with statues of Hungarian leaders and the square is surrounded by important historical buildings. Definitely worth a visit.

The Greeks had Thucidydes and Herotodus to chronicle their history. The Hungarians have - an anonymous author - to thank for theirs. The earliest accounts of Hungarian history were in the 12th and 13th centuries. This statue pays tribute to that author and have his face hidden to reflect the fact that we don't know his name. This is a very nice statue that movingly depicts the role of this unknown chronicler. I really wouldn't consider it a separate attraction as it is part of the very nice City park at the north end of Andrassy Ut in Pest. If you want to visit, try to combine it with Hero's Square - impressive in its own right and maybe 200 yards away, the scenic pond, and the architecturally interesting Vajdahunyad Castle. This is a popular statue. When we visited, it was covered non-stop with visitors posing for group photos. You might have to wait if you want to do the same or even longer if you want a shot of the statue by itself.
