Yarm is a small town in North Yorkshire, England. The town is on the south bank of the River Tees and is historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. The bridge at Yarm marked the furthest reach of tidal flow up the River Tees until the opening, in 1995, of the Tees Barrage, which now regulates river flow above Stockton. As the last bridge on the river before the sea, it was superseded by a new toll bridge opened in Stockton in 1771. The oldest part of the town, around the High Street, is situated in a loop of the river, and the newer parts of the town extend to the point where the River Leven meets the River Tees.

Alpaca Alpaca is a small family run alpaca farm set in 11 acres situated on the outskirts of the beautiful historic town of Yarm, where we aim to raise happy, healthy alpacas with outstanding genetics. We moved to our little small holding in 2014 where we started with 6 chickens and our dog Siren. Since then our family has grown and we now have 37 alpacas, 3 crazy sheep and Jerry the pig.
haven't been to visit yet, but have the socks from the store, must say these are the best socks ever for my walking boots here in Canada, so warm and comfortable, my wife has a pair also, so next time we are in the UK we'll be up there to have a visit, maybe even stay a night or so in the cottage and will be buying more socks for sure!!

We are walking the Teesdale Way and one stage took us from Yarm Bridge near the Blue Bell pub, across the road and along the river, all the way to Middleton One Row. This is a beautiful river walk, especially so as the sun was shining in a blue blue sky. There are a few little boardwalk sections, so I imagine it does get very muddy, but was dry when we visited. We would highly recommend this walk.

Fourteen Drops is a wine bar and wine shop specialising in over 200 plus wines from all over the world. We are also specialist cheese mongers and offer a large range of charcuterie from our deli both can be eaten in or taken away. During the day we operate as a coffee shop, serving a selection of sandwiches, small plates and sharing boards. Alongside our extensive wine by the glass list we also have an ever growing selection of gins both available on the bar and in the shop. Our food menu is available all day and night, we also offer a dish of the day paired with a glass of wine.
A visit here is one of our favourite ways to end an early evening in Yarm. Great wine and nibbles with friendly advice on options. Also great for a cosy cuppa and pastry on a weekend.

Lovely little quirky miniature castle.. Not worth a visit for the miserable or those without a sense of humour.. Personally I think it an entertaining way to visit Yarm.. Bob the Bolt stormed the castle.. Love it..
